I always wanted to work on a recommendation system, so now it's time to finally build that in Avenue. We got feedback from an organiser that when a customer buys a ticket, we should show them similar events by the same organiser on the checkout page. This is the logic of how I am finding similar events: The first condition is that the event should be by the same organiser. After this, I am using a geo clause to find events within a 50-mile radius. If we don't have anything, we fall back to the same city and then to the same state.
