To all ecologists, conservationists, and environmentally conscious citizens who claim they “don’t care about Rahul Gandhi’s politics” but insist that the destruction of forests and displacement of people in Great Nicobar must stop.
This is what politics is supposed to be about.
This is the politics which raises issues that touch people’s lives, protect our forests, safeguard biodiversity, and secure our climate future. It doesn’t gloss over environmental devastation in the name of reckless development to benefit a few crony capitalists.
If you truly care about these things, then support the politics that actually talks about them.
And oppose the brand of politics which spreads communal poison, ignores the daily struggles of Indians, and pursues power by bending every institution and trampling people’s rights.
Caring about Great Nicobar means caring about the politics that defends it.
It’s time to stand with Rahul Gandhi and his politics.

यूएनआई की हिंदी सेवा 'यूनीवार्ता' के पूर्व संपादक वर्मा को नोएडा में हुए मज़दूरों के आंदोलन में शामिल होने का आरोप लगा 17 अप्रैल को लखनऊ के जनचेतना बुकस्टोर से गिरफ़्तार किया गया था.
उन्होंने कई किताबों का अनुवाद किया है, जिनमें 'भगत सिंह के साथियों के संपूर्ण उपलब्ध दस्तावेज़' भी शामिल है.
इसके अलावा वर्मा कई प्रगतिशील समूहों से जुड़े हुए हैं. वह इतिहासकार लाल बहादुर वर्मा के बेटे हैं.
उन्हें तुरंत रिहा किया जाना चाहिए.

I travelled through Great Nicobar today. These are the most extraordinary forests I have ever seen in my life. Trees older than memory. Forests that took generations to grow. The people on this island are equally beautiful - both the adivasi communities and the settlers - but they are being robbed of what is rightfully theirs. The government calls what it is doing here a “Project.” What I have seen is not a project. It is millions of trees marked for the axe. It is 160 square kilometres of rainforest condemned to die. It is communities that have been ignored while their homes have been snatched away. This is not development. This is destruction dressed in development’s language. So I will say it plainly, and I will keep saying it: what is being done in Great Nicobar is one of the biggest scams and gravest crimes against this country’s natural and tribal heritage in our lifetime. It must be stopped. And it can be stopped - if Indians choose to see what I have seen.

Delhi CM visits a hospital in Delhi , Scolds a senior Most Doctor and when i opposed this move on social media , The entire IT cell got activated
Abuses , hurls and what not they tried from comments to my inbox which I don’t give a Damn about !
What the CM did was “Public humiliation” by scolding a doctor who is above her age, her education and was performing his duties before she even became the chief minister .
If he interrupted the CM in between it should be communicated in a decent way by requesting him in person and not publicly in front of juniors and cameras .
Will she ever speak life this to her own party leaders ? No . Then how can a doctor who served whole life should accept such behaviour !
Why there is no Patient Feedback Systems / Hospital staff feedback portal to complain directly to govt anonymously and if it is there why the condition of Delhi Hospitals is worst and even basic drugs are lacking most of the time .
She is answerable to all of this !
