DWI lawyers make the mistake of fighting the officer on whether something was or wasn't a "clue" on a field sobriety test. Stupid. The job is to de-legitimize the entire test. I represent athletes. I ask the cop who has just testified that losing balance is a sign of intoxication whether my client false starting against Baylor means he's drunk. The whole thing is a sham. Make that obvious. Ask the cop whether he used his arms for balance when he walked into the court room. He did. Because God made arms for a reason. Show the jury a picture of Simone Fucking Biles using her arms for balance in the Olympics. Make these people into the dishonest clowns they are.

@bradluttrell I've never been to publix, but I've been to Kroger. The answer can be only 1 word: quality.

Publix keeps snatching up property across the street from Kroger, which is so funny to me. Publix has a nice deli and bakery. Beyond that, it's like, 30-40% more expensive than Kroger. No clue why you'd prefer Publix over a Kroger.

Isn't it crazy that there's seemingly no national bar chains in the US. Plenty of Bar & Grills but no bars alone

@SandyofCthulhu If you're particular enough about your steak to send it back 5 times, you probably shouldn't be ordering steak. Just cook it yourself at home and get something else at the restaurant.

I went to Texas Roadhouse and ordered a steak medium rare. The nice waitress took her time to carefully explain what a "medium rare" steak looked like. I already knew, of course - I've been eating steak for 65 years - but I was polite and listened. She made sure I knew that a medium rare steak was red in the middle, not pink. I guess she gets customers who don't have a clue. Anyway the steak came out and it was absolutely well-done. Not a trace of red or even pink. I cut it in half and showed it to the waitress, and she was appalled. I didn't have her take it back - my wife already had her meal and we had places to go after dinner so why delay. So I ate my damn well-done steak, and I even tipped the waitress (I assume it was not her fault). But I haven't returned to Texas Roadhouse since.

@SandyofCthulhu I only had Italian beef for the first time like 4 years ago. Really irritated that I never had it before. I gotta say I side with the Italian beef advocate.

My buddy from Chicago and I have an ongoing argument over whether it's Italian Beef or Philly Cheesesteak as the greatest sandwich ever made out of cow. I figure whoever loses the argument, we both win.
