Under this heavy down poor, they are soaked in water in pursue of education, some of them have raincoats but most of them don’t, some are in casual clothes with their uniforms neatly packed in their school bags; they remove the wet casual clothes and put on their uniforms when they reach school. They are freezing and trembling but yet very determined, they refuse to give up on their future. Usually when I find them, I give them a lift up to their schools. I discuss with them what they want to become in future, I advise them where necessary, give them some ka pocket money and leave. May the dreams and aspirations of these little lads come true. Please whenever you meet them and have space in your car, don’t let them soak in water, drop them off at their schools.

She was the first district woman MP for Bukomansimbi district in 2011 following the district's creation in July 2010. Suzan Namaganda was a flourishing young legislator in the opposition, very kind,friendly. She was my tight buddy whom I could reach out to for anything and she would do the same. I remember one of the meetings we head before her death at Maria Flo in MSK (her,me,Mbidde), there were other meetings I attended upon her request with the catholic clergy,about a political situation back then in the greater Masaka. It was a shock when news broke that she had passed on following an accident at Mpanga forest along Masaka Road. At her burial, my tears rolled for her young child who had no clue and would grow up without a mother’s love, but thanks to Mukasa Mbidde the girl is doing well. Keep resting in paradise Suzan.
