But that's also true for closed source. FusionAuth could pivot out of the IAM space if it is not viable. What's your thoughts on transparency and security?

@mooreds @alchemist_ubi @adamdotdev @tweetsbycolin @zitadel Fully agree, OSS is hard but also super rewarding. We've been quite clear about being a company that is committed to OSS and not an (F)OSS project trying to make money.

We've all seen a lot of high profile companies (not necc auth companies) that started OSS, raised money, then shifted bc it's hard to be OSS and satisfy investors.

@deftdawg @zitadel The lock applies only to one auth method. You can use a different method to unlock. In the product there is nothing like a time-based unlock. In the cloud service we use bot and ddos mitigations that might solve your risk by solving the actual brute force scenarios
