I'm not entirely satisfied by the criticism of the Banksy statue that it's expressive of "establishment ideology" even though that's true- it's the way all these things address themselves to an entirely fictional or fantastic context in which their intended audience is hearing them for the first time (which then obliges that audience to pretend that is the case)
