To make this work, I think you need to bring in Van Hecke, Scott, and Ndiaye. Whilst not losing Enzo. Bring Jackson back into the fold, he’s miles clear of Delap. Not my favorite player but he’s more than capable of deputizing Joao Pedro.

@CFCMJordan Should have and do have are two different things. And what we do have is far from an Iraola style of play so unless we have another magical 5
1.5 billion to spend we should clearly prioritize what we have and add a coach that fit that instead of the latter

My personal opinion on playing style Chelsea SHOULD have is leaning towards an Iraola type. High, aggressive press and non-stop intensity.
However, the squad we have built up until this point doesn't really suit it.
It also requires STRONG depth if we really want to compete – which I don't think we have at this point.
And the point I've been trying to hammer down for the last week: the new coach needs to be someone the players immediately respect and someone they have full belief in to bring them to the top of the world. Iraola isn't that guy, imo.
The perfect coach in that sense would be Jürgen Klopp but I don't see a world where he joins Chelsea.

They are soft launching Iraola. Matt Law's article also said the same. I don't like the fact that I'm seeing no other names now. They said they will thoroughly go through different options but it's only Iraola that's in the news. Especially when you know other top managers fit the way we play more.
