On March 23, 2003, in South Kashmir’s Nadimarg village, 24 Kashmiri Pandits were lined up and shot at point-blank range in the Nadimarg massacre. Among them were 11 men, 11 women, and two children. After watching #Dhurandhar2, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are four main reasons why the ecosystem is hating it: 1) It shows Pakistan-ISI as it is (no sugar-coating) 2) It exposes how Congress ecosystem does not only ignored such threats but also helped them 3) The audience cheers during PM Modi’s oath ceremony scene and the “Ye naya Hindustan hai” dialogue. 4) It destroys their “Aman ki Asha” and “Hindu bashing” narrative, which they built over decades using Bollywood.

Do you know why Congis, converts, and Secular Pakistan sympathizers in India are upset about Dhurandhar 2 ? Because when you go to a theatre to watch the film, you'll see audiences clapping, cheering, and even getting emotional while experiencing a story filled with nationalism and patriotism. As people walk out of the theatres, they express a deep sense of pride and reiterate how important PM Modi is for our country. Thats the pain. And that's the reason for the hate directed against Aditya Dhar and the movie Dhurandhar. What the BJP was unsuccessful in conveying to the masses, in the past 10 years, Aditya Dhar succeeded in executing in just 3 hours.

It's laughable how Dhurandhar fans think Aditya Dhar is some genius who has made his name in the international cinema circuit with Dhurandhar and its sequel. Shows how little they know about cinema. Nobody can deny this fact that Dhurandhar 2 will be the highest grosser film in Hindi cinema. But that doesn't mean Aditya Dhar will be someone who will inspire filmmakers across countries. Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson have all admitted to be influenced by Satyajit Ray's cinema. A chase scene in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday inspired Danny Boyle to include a similar chase sequence in Slumdog Millionaire. This is what influence means when your work inspires filmmakers across countries. To even imagine that Aditya Dhar's work would even enter these circuits is laughable. No matter how much crores you earn.
