Building transaction enrichment for @maybe/@synth_finance (basically translating transaction descriptions into merchants). "TARGET DEBIT CRD ACH TRAN 971745 TARGET" = "Target" GPT-4 and Claude Opus both actually do it quite well as a first pass, but what do I need to look into for both making it smarter (i.e. training it when it gets things wrong) and making it cheaper (meaning skipping the LLM altogether and just using previous data to easily match based on format/keywords)?
