Angesichts der ständigen Preissprünge beim Deutschlandticket hat die NGO "Dialog-Gesundheit-Klima", jetzt ein hochspannendes Konzept zur dauerhaften Erhaltung des Tickets vorgelegt. Die Idee: Alle Bürger:innen und Unternehmen zahlen ähnlich wie beim Rundfunkbeitrag, monatlich einen festen ÖPNV-Beitrag. Der Preis soll je nach Zugang zu Bus & Bahn variieren. In Städten 29€, auf dem Land nur 10€. Die Vorteile: Ticketkontrollen fallen einfach weg, Fahrscheine werden überflüssig und das Gemeingut ÖPNV würde von allen Menschen solidarisch finanziert werden. Aber das Beste: Ein solches Modell würde Einnahmen in Höhe von 21,5 Mrd.€ generieren, das sind rund 6 Mrd.€ mehr als derzeit. Dieses Geld kann dann zweckgebunden in den Ausbau des ÖPNVs investiert werden. Also ich weiß nicht wie es euch geht, aber ich finde diese Idee großartig und hoffe sehr, dass Parteien den Mut haben, diesen Vorschlag ins Wahlprogramm mit aufzunehmen. Es wäre ein riesiger Schritt hin zu einem bezahlbaren, verlässlichen und klimafreundlichen ÖPNV🙏
