I journal my trades, watchlists, market rotations here for my own accountability. What I share often helps others spot ideas or refine their process (not financial advice. NFA). 📊Swing trading isn't about secret strategies – it's about nuances that fit YOU🫵 For example, think Latte☕️: espresso + steamed milk. 🍃No experience: sloppy mix → warm, flat, forgettable. 😎Skilled barista: precise texture, pour angle, temp, timing → rich, layered perfection. Difference = nuances mastered🏅 Trading = identical. Core stuff (support/resistance, risk:reward, trends, volume, price action) is public knowledge – no secret sauce🥫 1⃣Grind trading basics → if commited, 1 year max to grasp the core concepts. 🔢Finding/refining your personal nuances for consistency? 3-10 years screen time, discipline, brutal self-honesty⚠️ 🍃Newbies: they look for holy grail that does not exist. 😎Experienced: they refine nuances that work for them. ⚖️That's the separator: 👉Quitters hunt next shiny indicator/guru call. 👉Winners obsess over tweaking what clicks for them. What one habit, process, style, or nuance clicked for you and transformed YOUR swing trading? (or are you still searching for one?)👇 #SwingTrading #Trading #TechnicalAnalysis

@MrsMassacre Not welcome. Got it. FUN FACT: I wouldn't want to live there, even with a $1M welcome bonus: Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota: a designated wasteland in case of nuclear war, a prime first strike magnet, hosting multiple underground ICBM silos. Have fun.

Montana and Wyoming are sister states and you're not welcome in either one of them. Why? Because if you weren't raised here, you will never fit into our world. Here's the annual machine gun and cannon shoot. You're not ready for our culture.

📊 Stock Market Analysis Despite a strong reclaim rally in the PM session on the indexes, this could be a "gap close" momentum move that fades as quickly as it appeared. $QQQ closed barely (+0.08%) above its 200 SMA, a glimpse of upward strength amid downward momentum. Despite strong reclaim in PM session, the $NASDAQ ratio adj McClellan Summation Index shows strong downward momentum (see red line on chart). $SPY tested and rejected the 200 SMA, closing below it. Bearish. $DIA closed a full -1% below its 200 SMA. Clearly bearish. Overnight price action in $ES, $NQ, and $CL (oil) will dictate sentiment at tomorrow’s open. We remain in a DOWNTREND until more signals indicate otherwise. #Trading #TechnicalAnalysis

Thank you. As for choppiness, I went back 25 years to see how this type of market "resolved itself" in the past. What I found is that we need a relatively sharp momentum drop after tagging the 200 SMA (like now) to flush the market and resume the upward move quickly. If the market continues to flirt indecisively around the 200 SMA, we're in for 4–7 months of chop like in 2004, 2010, and 2011 (link with chart attached). x.com/outer_element/…

Same here, all cash (for now). And I missed the broad $XLE rally because I was trying to engineer a “perfect entry,” which, as you pointed out: fakeouts, failed moves, etc. Yes, opportunities lost, BUT I didn’t let my account get chopped up either. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but I am PATIENT first, OPPORTUNISTIC second in this market. Anyone agrees?

This market has forced me to do something that doesn’t come naturally to me: Being patient & sitting on my hands. And honestly, it’s probably been one of the most valuable stretches I’ve had in a while. This past month I’ve been sitting on majority cash, which is very unlike me. I’m a gunslinger at heart... I want to be involved, I want to execute, and I want to take big risks! But this environment hasn’t rewarded that behavior, so instead of forcing it, I’ve leaned into patience… and I’ve learned a lot because of it. One adjustment I’ve made recently is waiting for the first 30 minutes after the open. Not because I don’t see setups, but because I understand the type of market we’re in right now. It’s headline driven, reactive, and choppy, and the first 30 minutes have been a graveyard for a lot of traders over the past few weeks. This morning is a perfect example. Names like $SNDK, $MU, $AAOI, $WDC, $CIEN, and $NBIS all moved early, and yes, I missed entries because I waited. But I’m completely fine with that. Because for every clean move you see at the open, there have been countless fakeouts and failed moves that have chopped people up trying to force trades early! So as uncomfortable as it’s been to sit out more than I’d like… I know it’s exactly what this environment is asking of me. I’d rather miss a few trades today than force trades that cost me tomorrow. > Patience.

📈 Stock Market Direction Market opened with $SPY and $QQQ below key level: 200 SMA. Early move in $SPY and $QQQ is a very slow grind up, potentially to: tag their 200 SMA and possibly continue the downward momentum. #Trading
