This reflects a sort of dystopia that neither Orwell nor Huxley could have ever imagined. In Brave New World, Huxley foretold of ectogenesis, whereby humans are grown in incubators within “Hatcheries”. In Orwell’s 1984, the Party simply attempted to remove pleasure from the sexual act, to make it mechanical and a bland duty. But despite their bleak outlook, neither author could have fathomed the idea of a child being trafficked and purchased by two homosexual men role-playing as “parents”, in a marriage that does not actually exist, and then showcasing it to the world as if the ultrasound picture is somehow connected to their disordered union. Make no mistake: this “announcement” is an assault on language and nature. The child pictured in the ultrasound has no connection to these two men beyond simply being a future product for their showcasing consumption. Moreover, the child pictured below is hardly on the path to a healthy family life. Studies show that children raised by homosexual males are at higher risk of child mistreatment and in particular, sexual abuse, compared to children raised by heterosexual couples. This isn’t shocking. Homosexual inclination is very much a moral disorder, as it tends towards the intrinsic moral evils of homosexual acts. Those who giddily partake in such acts are, by no means, suitable for parenthood, let alone participation in any rational society. To divorce procreation from the marital union between husband and wife is bad. To take a conceived child (a byproduct of this divorce) and place it into the care of sodomitical men who engage in a simulacrum of marriage is even worse. At least a child who is born in less-favorable circumstances (such as IVF) and raised by a mother and father is the beneficiary of something— in this case, a family. But to take a child and willingly place it into moral disorder is cause for lament. This picture is less of a celebration, and more of a bitter tragedy. I suppose the only congratulations deserving here is this: congratulations, gentlemen, on creating a universe that even the most famous doomsday prophets of yore could not have envisioned. Zamyatin, Huxley, Orwell, or Forster—all of them imagined terrible futures. But none of them would have been prepared for this.

@StephenFleming it's already been a thing in most parkings already and this is the least problematic and uncontroversial thing this government has done. Plus the generated electricity can power the stores and the surplus resold to EDF, or sold completely, making this investment a non issue.

@StephenFleming @chabranigdo Some have already done it. The photo is from Disneyland Paris. It has 11200 parking spaces covered with 82 000 solar panels. The installation produces 36,1 MW/year, which is entirely sold.

Did you know? Gregory Baum was a Jewish convert to Catholicism who became a priest. He was one of the architects of Vatican II. He drafted Nostra Aetate to declare the Old Covenant still valid and end the church’s mission to convert Jews. He left the priesthood afterwards.

@eurofounder Mattias you could've been a multimillionaire if you count in the retirement benefits, access to Russian gas, the Erasmus program, and the inclusiveness and love towards the LGBTQ21A+ community. What better place to live on earth than Europe? Best continent in the world!

Yesterday I became a millionaire My net worth officially exceeded €1 million I gathered my family in the living room "Everyone, we made it. Our family is worth well above €1 million" I said smiling "What do you mean? We have no money" my wife said I expected her to be doubtful, so I pulled out my PowerPoint "I have calculated our net worth using the EU-method" I said €7k cash savings + €350k for proximity to public transport + €250k for free healthcare + €200k for cultural enrichment through our Muslim neighbors + €150k for the new park across the street + €100k for living in a walkable city + €80k for a robust network of bicycle lanes "We are worth €1.1 million" I said proudly My wife sighed and left the room Must have been overwhelmed by those figures In America you need money to be rich, but in Europe you just need public infrastructure

Japan ate 6.4 kg of meat per person in 1961 — and 35.5 kg by 2013. In that same window, stroke mortality dropped 85%. Heart disease did not rise. The country that added the most animal protein in Asia got healthier. Here is what nobody put on the poster.

After his death, investigators found the remains of 2,411 babies in Ulrich Klopfer’s home. Hundreds more in the trunk of his car. I knew Klopfer. I was a college student counseling women outside his clinic when he’d come out screaming — sexually harassing women in our group, ranting about killing American babies as vengeance for his German family lost in WWII. We thought he was unhinged. We had no idea. Today is “abortion providers appreciation day.” Abortion providers are serial killers.
