AI will reduce the cost of providing healthcare to essentially $0 It will be better care than the best doctor alive can do And it’ll be hyper personalized You’ll have agents that coordinate your entire journey from diagnostics to prescriptions to labs to visits, 100% aligned to your needs and not the design of the legacy system

kids are not a burden. this incessant narrative against kids and families is actually a civilizational threat when civilizations (even rome) reach a certain level of prosperity birth rates tend to collapse we cannot let that happen those who are pushing an anti-children narrative are deeply wrong and malformed kids are a blessing and utmost priority.

The growing narrative that frames kids as a burden to friendships and life is simply wrong. my friends with kids didn’t just disappear into parenthood. They made an effort to include me in their season. and it required something from me too. I had to pivot. Good friendships adjust. The ones that last are the ones where both people are willing to meet each other where they are.

Perhaps, I think we are miles apart from whether AI can fill this role and if it ever is allowed to. Fwiw I think we desperately need to fix our Healthcare system and technology including AI and Robotics is a way but in plenty of fields there are just structural roadblocks that have a ton of monetary incentives not to change.

Agree. I used to feel like motherhood meant losing my life. I'm not a mom yet but my perspective has shifted. It feels more like a pivot and honestly I can see how it brings a deeper kind of purpose. That said I do get why it can feel like a sacrifice. without a safe and supportive partner, it could feel that way.
Andrea D. Huberwoman, Ph.D.@thegenesisbl0ck

We’ve positioned the modern girl’s world in such a way that motherhood is seen as a sacrifice. The ideal path becomes pursuing her own interests, whether that’s a male-type career or willingly staying single and chasing nights out. It implies that whatever you’re “giving up” is objectively better than being a mom.

@Jeremy_ Malpractice falls to the care provider. Everything else will be explicitly “medical advice” Lots of analogies to FSD in terms of liability. Eventually you get discounts for using AI

Something I hope the parents in my life read: Even THINKING that your children are burdensome without admitting it in front of them will be felt. You must commit to reframing that or else your child will grow up believing you do not love them.

I had three kids under 24 months when I founded @boomsupersonic. And I didn’t have a supportive partner. Kids are a joy not a burden—even under difficult circumstances. You can have a family and an ambitious career—particularly if you choose your partner wisely.
