@RedMonko @HendrickD82 That team doesn't finish top 4 in 16/17 without him. Also 25 mil wasn't what you pay for a top player in 2014. It was 35+ Sanchez, Ozil and Di Maria for example. Lallana was the fee for a good premier league player and that's what he was.

Lovren, one may argue, cost LFC at least 2 league titles and + Invincible/Centurion season. Cost a lot too.

United and City were better. It's really that simple. The 13/14 team conceded 50 goals in the league. They couldn't defend.

@patrick_p95 @feastyy @LFC @Carra23 All squads are flawed in one way or another. Neither Utd nor city were perfect in those seasons they won. Those two Liverpool teams finished with 84 and 86 points. Any other season and that would have won you the title.

I can't take the opinion of anyone who thinks Lucas, Sakho, Skrtel, Toure and Arbeloa were "Worldies" seriously.

@treasureh8nter @feastyy @LFC @Carra23 Firstly in 08/09 Torres missed 14 games. Hyypia and Agger missed over half of the season. Neither of whom were "worldies" Arbeloa was an okay right back. Reina was a decent enough keeper. Lucas was average. United had a better squad

Everything is about moments. Salah glossed over some horrid performances last season by winning us games we didn't deserve to win.
