I honestly don’t get why many ppl think that not seeing immediate consequences for burning irminsul equals bad writing. Genshin’s story is an ongoing one so expecting to see the consequences come to pass in the same AQ doesn’t make sense to me.

@patrickyeh9 🤔Hmm, good point. If I do redo the battle system, I need to add a difficulty setting, so that players who are here for the story + h-content can set it to "easy", and have "normal" be a standard RPG difficulty level. For me, a challenge makes the possession feel earned.

Early v0.4.0 feedback suggests people are more interested in story progression than battles. Hmm.. I was planning on redoing the battle system from scratch to make it more fun and engaging, but maybe I'll scale back those ambitions depending more feedback submissions.
