@carolecadwalla A major reason for me initially holding Tortoise in high esteem was their strong association with Paul Caruana Galizia. As far as you know have they now parted ways? Neither seems to reference the other anymore; odd/sad given his involvement was crucial to their early credibility

The avg rent in Bristol is now a staggering £1748. Tenants are handing over a growing slice of their pay packet every month to keep a roof over their heads - often in poor quality & insecure homes. Renters Rights Bill must include rent controls to stop tenants being ripped off.

While prepping to interview Boris Johnson tomorrow,  by mistake I sent our briefing notes to him in a message meant for my team. That obviously means it’s not right for the interview to go ahead. It’s very frustrating, and there’s no point pretending it’s anything other than embarrassing and disappointing, as there are plenty of important questions to be asked. But red faces aside, honesty is the best policy. See you on Sunday.
