This is an insanely shocking take! You must not have been there. Whenever John Obi Mikel was deployed by Jose it meant the game was done and shut down, and it worked every single time. Can’t say the same for Santos or anyone now can we? Mikel provided support, a depth and balance to our midfield that everyone prays we have now which we’re not even close to. The fact he held himself at the same level as Lampard, Essien and Ballack consistently is enough. Don’t disrespect Mikel for the sake of so called “balance” to a conversation. It’s so far off the mark it looks extreme 🤷‍♂️

Big man you were Andrey Santos’ level, stop talking like you were any better, Mikel thinks we have forgotten. The revisionism on his career needs to be studied

Today, a senator stood on the floor of the Senate and declared that the “Generator Cabals” are the primary reason behind Nigeria’s failure to achieve 24/7 electricity. One wonders whether these same so-called Generator Cabals were also the ones who drafted, passed, and signed into the discriminatory Band A, B, C, and D electricity tariff policy. One of the most stupid policy I have ever seen. Everything is beginning to make sense now, these people are purposely keeping the country on its toes for some selfish reasons. We have the Oil Cabals, The Banking Cabals, The Maritime Cabals, The Pharmaceutical and Import Cabals, The Entertainment Cabals, The Religious Cabals, The Political Cabals, and now, the Generator Cabals. Nigeria has become thoroughly Cabalnized, every critical sector of the country captured and controlled by vested interests working against the collective good.

Rowan Atkinson, the guy who plays Mr. Bean, bought a McLaren F1 in 1997 for £640,000, about a million dollars then. He drove it 41,000 miles, crashed it twice, and sold it in 2015 for £8 million. The 2011 crash near Peterborough threw the V12 engine 20 metres from the wreckage, and the £910,000 payout to rebuild it was Britain's largest single-car insurance claim at the time. Even with that, profit hit roughly £7 million. Atkinson said most of those miles were "going to Sainsbury's or doing the school run." Atkinson is a trained engineer. He earned an electrical engineering degree from Newcastle University in 1975, then a master's in the same field from The Queen's College, Oxford in 1978. His father had studied at the same college back in 1935. His thesis was on something called self-tuning control. In plain English, that means any system smart enough to adjust its own settings while it runs, without a person standing there tweaking dials. Aircraft autopilots work this way. Paper mills and chemical plants do too. Other engineers cited his thesis in a 1979 paper published by the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Atkinson told The Arts Desk the thesis was "good enough for an MSc but not good enough for a DPhil," which is Oxford's name for a PhD. He had wanted the doctorate. Comedy at the Oxford Revue kept pulling him out of the lab. He left with the master's, which he called "a quite rare degree at Oxford." Decades later, in 2006, Oxford made him an Honorary Fellow of the same college he had walked away from to do Mr. Bean. The engineering brain never switched off. For years he wrote technical car columns for Car magazine, Octane, and Evo, getting into how cars actually behave on the road with the precision of someone trained in control systems. The meme has the master's from Oxford right. The rest of the story: a published engineering thesis other engineers cited, a PhD he was on track to finish before comedy took over, an Honorary Fellowship he picked up decades later, and one of the most complicated production cars ever built used as a daily driver for the school run.

I bought a crate of eggs for ₦6,200 from a woman three days ago. When I got home, I discovered almost 22 were already spoilt. The next morning, I went to complain and even met another customer there complaining about the same thing. I showed her the eggs and she got defensive immediately. “No be me dey lay them nah… wetin you want make I do now?” I told her this was the second time I was complaining about spoilt eggs from her. She started insulting me. I quietly dropped the eggs and left. As I was going, I opened my Opay app and reported the transaction. Guess who came looking for me this afternoon? The same woman. She came with a full crate of eggs, extra 6 pieces, apology and plenty begging. “Please tell Opay we have settled…” Suddenly, her customer service appeared from nowhere 😭 I told her to go to opay office in Lagos to sort her account out.

I have two issues with what he said. 1) He makes it seem say na Tinubu administration pushed the people into poverty, as if it's not an endemic issue since military days. 2) He doesn't hammer the Tinubu administration enough on the particular thing they are doing wrong that's causing the disconnect. He's not doing useful analysis, just repeating talking points. The main issue is that the government has been pro-business not pro-market. There is a huge difference between those two and it's the same mistakes we've been making since 1999, one of those terrible military rule habits we've refused to shed. Since November or so, na only Dangote dem give import licence to import petroleum product, despite him being the biggest refinery in Nigeria with over 95% share of capacity. That's being pro-business, not pro-market. It gives him the power to set price anyhow. That why since then, petrol has been selling at a higher price than the landing cost if it were imported. Na only him dey decide on a whim. Same issue in cement, sugar, flour, palm oil, fertilizer etc. The guy barely mentioned the cartel that fixes price. That's the main issue, and the Tinubu government is supporting cartels just like Buhari government, GEJ government, Yar'Adua government etc. It's what has been called Buharinomics, as Buhari firmly believes in it. Like most Nigerians. Unfortunately, it only leads to penury for the average man, as it's a version of trickle-down economics that's never worked anywhere in history 😡🤬😡🤬😡😡🤬😡. So, no matter who we elect, they all believe in Buharinomics. Including San Deen and You Uncle Felix

Bought 2 for 130K each October last year Produced at least 10-12 red feather every 6 weeks Each full feathers are sold for 6,500, the little ones are sold for 3K. Feeding is just fresh corn and fresh ground, no expensive stuff. Each time the feathers are ready, you tie a black cloth on their eyes and once you remove the feathers, be sure to rub their anus with little palm oil. NB: if you don’t take care of the birds, they will break the feathers once grown and it’s useless once broken.
