What is Palestine? There has never been a country with that name. There was a British Mandate of Palestine where both Jews and Arabs lived. It was established around 1920. During that time, there were three names for it during this time. In English it was Palestine In Arabic it was Filastine In Hebrew it was Palestinia Eretz Israel The region was first given the name to try and minimize the Jewish connection to the land. Today, itโ€™s a name given by the inhabitants of Gaza and the contested territories. That place absolutely exists. Itโ€™s still not a country.
Rosie@RivetRoseQuartz

@rich_toronto simple Q, do you believe that Palestine exists?

India just made a silent move that could bring โ‚น2+ lakh crore back into the country. Most people haven't noticed it yet. But if you have money in FDs, mutual funds, or stocks โ€” this affects you directly. Here's what happened and what it means for your money ๐Ÿงต

Absolute shit show in terms of PR. I donโ€™t know who is running the show and narrative. Even after doing so much good work this government isnโ€™t making an impression on peopleโ€™s mind.

I didn't comment on coaching centers. Coaching centers and the transfers are a deflection from the crisis of leadership we are facing right now. 1. PM needs to speak up. In such a moment we need to hear from our leader, and we need him to give people confidence. Leaders stand up in crisis, not avoid. He should have spoken up days ago. Is this not a crisis? Are millions of lives not impacted? 2. There are clear allegations of corruption and conflict of interest for the Education Minister. We need leadership here: why is he still in a job? Why is he in a position to influence process? The Education Minister should be fired and made an example of, over and above the investigation. 3. Transfers and a commission are predictable bureaucratic responses, but these are face saving measures by a bureaucracy and a government. What are you doing immediately to give solutions to people? We need solutions not deflection. 4. CBSE is a bottleneck. Board exams should only be needed for specific colleges that want to use them. Allow students to skip board exams and just do entrances if they know what they want. 5. Stop giving L1 contracts for critical projects. 6. As a parent, I have zero faith in CBSE now. My nieces are giving 12th boards this year and next. CBSE lacks credibility, and parents should start looking elsewhere to other boards. You can change the heads, but the whole system looks rotten. 7. What is the role of CERT-IN here? Look at how badly the portal was set up for such a critical process. 8. We have a problem of scarcity : a collapsing education system with a "New Education Policy" created for yesterday and not tomorrow. We need more competition in education : bring in foreign universities and give people choice. There is a clear demand supply mismatch in education.

Pahalgam happened on 22 April 2025. Till the morning of 07 May 2025, everyone, BJP supporters as well criticized govt, called leadership weak & what not. After Operation Sindoor, everyone deleted their tweets. Lauded govt. Said they always knew govt would take time but do the right thing & lectured on how sometimes it is okay to wait & trust the govt. Unfortunately a conclusive investigation doesnt happen on the basis of tweets. Things get investigated & take time. Give the govt time. They will sort out CBSE mess also. Your blackpillers will delete tweets. This isnt UPA 2 with Manmohan Singh. This is NDA 3 with Narendra Modi.

The people of this country have expectations from the BJP government. Ethical and moral responsibility must be taken by the concerned minister. Simply shunting out or transferring the CBSE Chairman and Secretary is not enough. First the NEET fiasco, and now the CBSE controversy. Completely inexcusable. There are forces which want to instigate GenZ to create a situation against the government. Why are we giving them this opportunity by these fiascos?

CBSE Chairman and Secretary removed after the CBSE fiasco - Good move, should have been done earlier but not enough. - The educaton minister has to go. - I know the government does not want to be seen acting under pressure from opposition but this is frankly, not about the opposition. - It is about the credibility and committment of the government towards the people. - People have placed immense faith in the leadership of @narendramodi_in @narendramodi ji, and this faith needs to be reciprocated by showing sensitivity to people's concerns. - While oldies like me remember the shit-show which the Congress rule has been for this country, for the younger generation the current government's working and action is the standard template. - Younger lot won't be comparing this government with that of Congress earlier - this government will judged purely on its own merit. - GOI shouldn't let one or few person's incompetence besmirch all the hard work done, and good will generated over the last 10+ years.

The Modi government just canโ€™t remain out of news cycle. Notice to @DelhiGymkhana is such a provocative move that entire Lyutenโ€™s folks will be furious. The elitism of the Gymkhana can be judged by the fact that the waiting period to get its membership is 25 plus years. Some of those top sarkari babus working in the PMO and in the ministry of Housing and Urban affairs, that issued the notice, may be members of Gymkhana. Only in this government Netas can make the Babus work against their own favourite recreation club. We have rarely seen any government disturbing such elite clubs. Normally, the governments, using laws and its clauses, order demolition of Garib Nagars as itโ€™s happening in Mumbai, currently. Certainly, this bold intent to take over 27 plus acres of land of Gymkhana enjoyed by the current and former powerful groups of ruling class is offbeat. This move will not be opposed by Aam janta, It will take time before the Gymkhana loses land. In land of Mahabharat nobody surrenders land without prolonged litigation. However, knowing the Modi governmentโ€™s ongoing plans, to build modern offices of the Union ministries and central institutions around India Gate and in its surrounding areas, itโ€™s not difficult to imagine some ministries bland buildings or some public park erected on this land within 10-12 years. The government camp will argue why should merely 1200 plus elites continue enjoying exclusive privileges, almost for free, when the government is facing acute shortage of land for administration? The club doesnโ€™t own the land. Such club can operate in any corner of NCR but the union government offices are required to operate near other existing office clusters. It will be better @DelhiGymkhana surrenders the land. Aap ka time gaya! People should force the government to do great landscaping and transform 27 acres of Gymkhana land into a beautiful green park. Probably an unpopular opinion, but the kids need not have made this so explicitly political. They have done a great job in highlighting lacunae in the system. Shouldn't have let a politician use them.

A revealing chat with my fellow โ€œanti-national Soros agents.โ€ Vedant and his friends are brilliant, brave young Indians who asked CBSE and the Modi government simple questions - but got insults instead of answers. They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it.

Indian civilizational identity is not just something to feel proud of. It is an asset for growth. And there are forces and narratives that benefit from Indians abandoning it. There is a reason for the artificial content being manufactured on Twitter and in the media. To delude Indians into giving up their identity. To make them shun the very idea that Indian civilization is a continuation, one that has refused to be erased. Time to reclaim it. Build with it.

Rahul Gandhi should seriously consider enrolling in a good school because his current education doesn't seem to be helping much. The report clearly said PM Modi was personally supervising the investigation into the NEET paper leak issue, ensuring action against those responsible. But Rahul Gandhi somehow read it as PM Modi personally supervising the paper leak itself. At this point, the problem isn't the headline, it's the comprehension skills.

Medical entrance exam question papers were leaked five times since 2015, and thrice after the NTA was set up. Questions are therefore being raised about the competence of NTA. Supreme Court is right in observing that it is a matter of shame if Prime Minister has to intervene to prevent the question paper of an exam being leaked. If the system is weak and the assistance of Indian Air Force is being sought to transport question papers to exam centres, then it is also a matter of concern. The Education Minister is also right when he says that if paper setters or translators start leaking questions for money, what can be done? It is the Education Ministerโ€™s responsibility to decide what to do and how to do. Why should 22 lakh students and their families suffer the consequences of sins committed by the unscrupulous and the corrupt? rajatsharma.in/?p=12694

I think it is about time that @narendramodi ji needs to give marching orders to Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. The NEET cancellation followed by CBSE fiasco is a major execution disaster. Apart from the disaster on execution front, there is now talk about towards favoritism in appointment of execution agencies. Involving Armed Forces in NEET execution will not restore the faith of lakhs of children and their parents. Its like using a band-aid to prevent a dam from bursting! There is no guarantee that the disaster will not strike again in one form or the another unless complete overhaul is done. Probity demands that the Education Minister needs to resign and a complete relook needs to be taken at the NEET execution and the CBSE copy checking system.
