This is my home in Kashmir right on the banks of River Jhelum. The place I took my first steps, spoke my first words. Gone since the 1990 Genocide. A Muslim family lives there illegally. I have tried for 2.5 years, submitted all papers to the Govt but every time, local officials say 'No home at that address'. My mother still clutches the old key. Please help. Share and amplify my plea. Maybe, one day, justice will return our world to us. 🙏🏼🕉️🚩

They're dragging my name into unrelated events, cooking up wild conspiracies, and hurling baseless attacks all because I had the spine to lead an open letter, backed by 204 distinguished signatories (including 116 retired Armed Forces officers, 84 retired bureaucrats among them 4 former Ambassadors, calling out @RahulGandhi for diminishing the sanctity of Parliament, an institution meant for serious deliberation and responsible leadership and for treating Parliament like a street protest.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

USCIRF recommends sanctions on: 1) India's RAW. 2) RSS. Do you know who the current Vice Chair and Commissioner of USCIRF is? Dr. Asif Mahmood, a Pakistani who moved to the USA in the 1990s, later obtained US citizenship and took up activism. It's shameful that US allowed her institution to be misused by a Pakistani who continues to have ISI links after acquiring US citizenship. Let USCIRF first tell Senate how much inter religious freedom exists in Pakistan. Why should not Notorious ISI which sponsors terrorism across the world be not banned.

The dignity of Parliament is fundamental to our democracy, not a stage for theatrics. What we witnessed recently reflects a worrying disregard for institutional norms and authority, as even basic standards of conduct within the precincts were ignored. The actions of @RahulGandhi and others diminish the sanctity of a space meant for serious deliberation and responsible leadership.

It was a privilege to have worked with Izhar Alam under such an exceptional leader, one who bore the brunt of both Pakistan-sponsored Khalistan and radical terrorism in Kashmir. The Indian Police is proud of leaders like him, the kind you rarely see today. On a personal note, while serving as AIG Personnel, I once came across my ACRs. He had written for me: “Let destiny not snatch him away from us.” A remark seldom seen in ACRs, and one I will always cherish. We all miss him.

Officers like him were so respected by Punjabis of the time - who saw the Khalistani evil up close - that they were felicitated by politicians of all hues to win popular favor. Izhar’s wife even became an Akali MLA!

Budgam, 1990 — Planned Ambush In 1990, while I was serving as District SP Budgam, terrorists planned an ambush after villagers invited us to their area. The intended targets were me and the DC Budgam. That day, I didn’t go. Instead, two DySPs and one SHO went in our place. In the ambush that followed, one DySP and the SHO were killed, while another DySP was seriously injured. This video recounts that day, and pays tribute to the brave officers who faced the attack and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Jammu & Kashmir has seen countless such acts of bravery and sacrifice by brave officers of @JmuKmrPolice. 🇮🇳
