The situation in Harare is now sad. I personally started Men clothing store in 2021 striving to sell over 100 pieces a month and it was achievable.
Now in 2026, we are struggling to sell half of that. We are really struggling especially these small shops. Facebook is swamped with same products, X people doesn't repost 🔁 zvekumhanya, TikTok is swamped, Instagram is tricky.
So many property owners in town, they are converting their offices or big shops to small tables, shops, cubicles...so many malls and they're full because unemployment people who are looking to survive.
Its a sad situation. We sell for rent, wages, council bills only. No growth
