@iamsandrasayer I was out fishing in Winchester Lake, CT, and I saw a bright white rectangular light shining ovér the trees. When everyone said it's just the moon I pointed to the C moon at the other side of the sky. We ended the fishing trip.

@gberon Maybe—but if it’s genuine, it won’t just be about “figuring it out fast,” it’ll show in consistent, respectful behavior over time.

@keepthiscab There’s no universal timeline—what matters is trust, communication, and comfort. Going slower can help you gauge intentions, but it’s less about a set time and more about whether the connection feels genuinely mutual and respectful.

@The_Bunny_Doll Truly it depends on the person but the average is between 1 to 3 months. Sometimes longer. Doing it too quickly though can hurt the relationship if the other person is not genuine he gives them an opening to take advantage of you. The longer you can go the better until you know

I used to have a bit of an issue with telling people I loved them way too soon, probably stems from how isolated I felt for most of my life. I remember going on a first date with a femboy, we went into a photo booth to take pics, he ended up sitting on my lap and we made out a bunch and I accidentally told him I loved him, he kinda just cupped my chin and told me not to say that as I barely knew him at that point, I did end up dating him for a year but after the photo booth thing I pretty much stopped telling people I loved them entirely. It was actually Adam who told me he loved me first, he let it slip out when we were just cuddling in his bed after we knew each other for maybe a week or two, I'm so glad he let it slip first, cus I wanted to tell him I loved him so badly. The other week when Freya and I were really high on shrooms and cuddling in bed she told me she loved me and that kinda unlocked some crazy new feelings in my head and I told her I loved her too, despite it only being our second time hanging out, I think it should be totally fine and normalised to tell people you love them if you really feel the deep connection is there, some people kinda don't like being told you love them cus "love" is such a powerful word, I think you can have more than enough love inside you for multiple people, there are so many people I genuinely do love 🫠❤️

@JTweet4856 Yeah, that makes sense—hopelessness can weigh on everything else and make even small things feel pointless or exhausting.

On April 14, a white couple riding the Red Line was assaulted by a group of black passengers for allegedly saying a racial slur. What led up to the incident remains unclear as there is no confirmed evidence of them saying it, and the claim appears to come solely from the man recording the video.

@JTweet4856 Lived experience definitely brings a perspective that data or study alone can’t replace, and it matters in these conversations. At the same time, broader patterns usually involve a mix of many experiences, not just one environment or group.

@ruby4sk_1 Maybe you need to visit an impoverished community and talk to the residents. They dont like this behavior and are oppressed by it the same way these white passengers were in this video. Im grounded in the conversation because I lived amongst it. You just studied it.

@JTweet4856 If you zoom in on those instead of broad metaphors, the conversation gets a lot more grounded.

@JTweet4856 On the substance: even when you’re focused on specific people, the “cancer” analogy is doing a lot of heavy lifting emotionally rather than analytically. Social behavior doesn’t work like a disease that inevitably “gets worse” without intervention; it depends on context

@ruby4sk_1 This is not the representation of the black community. Regardless of what social media and "statistics" would lead you to believe. The major issue is if you leave bad behavior unchecked, it will get worse. Like cancer gets more aggressive the more you ignore the symptoms.

@DeprogrammedNPC I get the sentiment—you’re basically saying systems can’t hold up without shared standards and accountability, and when they break down, everyone feels it.If you want, I’d be open to staying in touch and continuing the conversation as friends.

@ruby4sk_1 @MillionForThumb @Photo_Mayor Yeah that's what the last couple generations have done and now the toilets are overflowing and someone has to do something about it. Otherwise there's gonna be crap all down the hall. At some point we as a people have to agree on what's right so we can continue building society
