I've been privileged to school with the rich even though I was from the trenches, and in Uni, I've had friends with those whose parent are rich and I can tell you for a fact that the rich didn't send their sons and daughters to expensive schools just for education alone. Cos in that school, seated next to you is a son of a politician, daughter of a Bank Manager, and sons & daughters of business tycoons & captains of industries. The actual motive of their parent sending their children to expensive schools are for connection purposes. This is why the rich would love to marry the rich. This is why it is expedient you have knowledge on so many things so you can add a thing or two in conversations. If all you could talk about is the latest bag, shoes, wigs and whatnot, you can't hold any conversation or keep it going, they'll clock it in their head that you're not it. Then they kinda avoid you.
