SAN DIEGO: MS-13 gang member and murderer RELEASED from jail by California sanctuary politicians ARRESTED by @ICEgov. Criminal illegal alien, David Antonio Aviles Perez, has an international warrant for MURDER in El Salvador. His criminal history also includes an arrest in 2023 in California for assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and petty theft. However, Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary policies allowed this gang member to be RELEASED back into California neighborhoods. Releasing this gang member back into our communities put American lives at risk. Thanks to the leadership of @POTUS Trump and @SecMullinDHS, and the heroic men and women of DHS law enforcement, this murderer is OFF our streets and will soon be out of our country.

A safe choice matters. Parents—don’t give alcohol or marijuana to minors. You could face fines, citations, or civil liability. Let’s set the right example and keep our kids safe!

E-motorcycles are not e-bikes and may not be street legal. The e-motorcycles in the photos have been seized by deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff's Station over the past few weeks in Encinitas and Solana Beach.   Safety starts with knowing the law. The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that operating e-bikes and e-motorcycles illegally poses serious risks to riders and the community. We encourage everyone to follow traffic laws and ride responsibly.   Important Reminder: 🏍️ E-motorcycles are NOT e-bikes. 🪪 If e-motorcycles are unregistered and unlicensed, they are NOT street legal. 🚶Riding e-motorcycles on public roads poses serious safety risks for pedestrians, riders, and vehicles. 💵 Operating these e-motorcycles on city streets can lead to citations, fines, and towing.   For more information on current laws, types of E-Bikes, and more, please visit: sdsheriff.gov/resources/bicy…

On Friday, March 6, the North Coastal Sheriff's Station began receiving inquiries from the public regarding a social media post showing federal agents in the front publicly accessible parking lot of the North Coastal Sheriff's Station located at 175 N. El Camino Real in Encinitas.  Any federal agency participating in immigration-related operations in Encinitas have done so without prior knowledge or assistance from the North Coastal Sheriff's Station. The incident highlighted on social media is an example of just that. The North Coastal Sheriff's Station does not know the circumstances regarding why federal agents were present in the station's public parking lot. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office remains steadfast with complying with California Senate Bill 54 (SB 54), also known as the California Values Act. The Sheriff's Office does not use agency facilities, resources or personnel to assist federal agencies with immigration enforcement. To learn more about how the Sheriff's Office complies with SB 54, visit: sdsheriff.gov/resources/open…. The Sheriff's Office remains dedicated to building a culture of trust and transparency with our diverse communities. We want to remind the public they can always contact the San Diego County Sheriff's Office if they have questions about any Sheriff's activity/operations in their communities. You can always call the Sheriff's non-emergency line 24/7 at (858) 868-3200.

Great reporting by @jenny_huh of @ABC10. She interviews CA State Senator Catherine Blakespear, Chair of the Senate Environmental Quality Committee, on CA’s oil refinery regulations - and Blakespear makes a very awkward exit. Watch the clip ⬇️

I've been asking a simple question: Where is all the money going? Billions of dollars have been poured into homelessness in San Diego County and across California. The problem keeps getting worse. And when I ask the County, the Regional Task Force on Homelessness, or just about anyone in charge — I can't get a straight answer. If you can't tell taxpayers where the money went and what it accomplished, maybe you shouldn't be in charge of spending it.
