Hi all! I know I've been AWOL awhile. My life has been challenged, and I'm rising with the Lord to face it. My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes from his prostate up to his chest. He had a bad reaction to a medication a few weeks ago that shut down his kidney function to 3%, and was hospitalized, but the Lord has restored that function and he is now home, mulling over decisions that need to be made concerning the quality versus the quantity of the rest of his days. We will be facing 45 days of radiation to shrink the prostate, so as not to cause any other blockages or restrict bodily functions. We will see an oncologist for the lymphatic system, and try to choose from there, depending on what they say. Everything is spinning, but I'm hanging onto the only ROCK that is secure, the Lord Jesus Christ, my refuge and strong tower! We would be grateful for any intercession on our behalf, and thank you to all my prayer warrior siblings!!
