If satan can keep a Christian ignorant or in unbelief about who they have become and their rights as a child of the King, he can keep them in bondage even though the law of liberty in Christ Jesus has been put into effect! The most effective way the devil has done this is through religious unbelief, specifically the doctrinal teachings about us being "unworthy, condemned sinners, saved by grace." Thank God that we WERE old sinners, but were saved by grace, and now we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). We are no longer unworthy in our spiritual man. Ephesians 4:24 says, “And that ye put on the new man [that is speaking of your born-again spirit], which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Our spirit is righteous and truly holy! This is true for all who are born-again, spirit-filled believers! Praise Jesus for his cleansing, healing atonement that made us brand new holy creatures in God's sight! That's TRUE atonement! Hallelujah!

@ThisOldMonster @nickimoraa Of course, it WAS better when they were built in, but big tech will no longer support outdated CD's and DVD's when everything today is electronic. We who prefer to stick to the old tech have to deal with it.

@sidontae @nickimoraa I don't think so. Of course, I miss the drive attached, but they're not making them, so if we want to use CD's or DVD's we need to use a player. It plugs in easily, just like headphones or any other usb plug in.

@danielngan17 @Phil_Johnson_ Just like we "struggle" with every other sinful behavior, we avoid it, crucify it, and count ourselves dead to sin. Temptation isn't sinful, but giving into it is. You only struggle when you can't decide between serving God and satan.

Your opinion does not match the Scriptures that claim that the point of the law was to TUTOR us to know the depths of our own unrighteousness so we could fully appreciate the SAVIOR. (Galatians 3) God the Father KNEW no one but Jesus would be able to keep the law and fulfill it, which is why His divine plan called for redemption.

@BaileyJoy9 The point of the law was to keep the scale from totally tipping towards evil humans by default do this " Sodom as example " but that was a temporary solution. Jesus the perfect fulcrum of the scales did not come to balance it but to destroy it on the cross

Those who seek to erroneously earn righteousness through keeping the Law are consumed with 'doing,' while those who receive righteousness by faith are simply confessing WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE. This is a simple and yet profound difference. If we are still 'doing' acts of holiness to get God to move in our lives, then we are still operating under a 'Law' mentality that is not faith (Gal. 3:12). When we simply believe and confess what has already been provided through Christ, that's grace.
