PRESS RELEASE – Allianz League Roinn 3 Rd 6 – Leitrim v Fermanagh – FIXTURE UPDATE Leitrim GAA regrets that it has to concede the Allianz Football League Round 6 game to Fermanagh which was due to be played in Ballinamore tomorrow. The reasons for this are genuine and revolve simply around the availability of enough fit to play players to fulfil this fixture. This weekend the Team Management has a total of 13 outfield players who are fit to play tomorrow, including two players who are just coming back from serious injury one of whom has been out for 14 months & has played only 12 minutes in the last game versus Offaly. This does not include our two goalkeepers who are recovering from head injuries and are not fit to play. In addition to this, six members of the panel are not available tomorrow due to the fact that they are in preparation for a Connacht Under 20 Championship match versus Galway on Wednesday evening next. We must stress that the Leitrim players were very keen to play this game if it was at all possible but due to overall player welfare considerations and a duty of care towards the group for the greater good, we have had to take this unprecedented and unfortunate decision. In reality, we could find ourselves with only 12 players on the field tomorrow. The complete background to this decision includes the fact that in the preparation for this year’s campaign, an inordinate number of last year’s panel had declared themselves unavailable for the 2025 season and the current Team Management appointed at the end of October has had to deal with forming a panel in a much-delayed timeframe in which preparation only commenced in December. Due to the unavailability of former players, they found themselves reliant on a large number of inexperienced players and younger players from the Under 20 age group. The workload in preparation for this season has cumulatively taken its toll and a multiplicity of simultaneous injuries has brought us to this unfortunate situation, which has resulted as outlined. @TeamYouTube I understand that & thank you for your reply, but I'm talking about months. For example, 1 video got 8k max within a few days. Of the 7 I uploaded between September & December, 3 have a max resolution of 8k, 5 are currently at 4k.
None from 2025 have a max 8k.

@slattsmachine Higher resolution takes a longer time to process. If 8k is not yet available, it might be taking some time to finish processing. More info on the previously shared resource

@TeamYouTube my 8k 360 videos seem to be stuck at 4k max resolution for a long time (desktop & quest 3).
Is there anything I should be doing differently (exact same process as when videos came up as 8k before).

@TeamYouTube I understand that, but the max resolution of some of my 8k videos are 4k, months after uploading them.
Some (with identical processing setup) have a max resolution of 8k, most have only a max of 4k.

@slattsmachine We understand your concern. When you upload a video, it will initially be processed in low quality. Higher quality videos, can take more time to process. Once high-resolution processing is finished, higher qualities will be available on your video: goo.gle/4honWrw

@TeamYouTube I've tried that. Its capped at 4k. I don't have the option to get 8k in some of my videos, yet others have. This is not the default resolution issue, its an issue with the ceiling being limited to 4k instead of 8k.

@slattsmachine Sometimes YouTube adjusts a video's quality to improve viewing. If someone's internet connection is slow, quality may be adjusted. You can still change it yourself from the menu settings by selecting quality though: goo.gle/3DlC3A1 Hope this helps!
