The point wasn’t that ppl like her don’t exist or that there’s anything wrong with their bloodline.
It’s fantastic to be able to trace your heritage to the founding.
But you’re not better than any other citizen of this country.
My point was this:
1.) Ppl like her are rare in modern America.
2.) They are not the ONLY ppl worthy of the title “American.”
3.) Hardworking immigrants who share American values and have pursued citizenship the PROPER way also share in the American dream (and they’re represented in most of our bloodlines).
I might say to her that the only reason she rejects that premise is bc she wants to feel special and superior.
