@DeathyDL I think draft will eventually contribute towards a toxic ecosystem because it creates expectations that most people aren’t willing to fulfill. Instead of the system attempting to create a composition you will just get a full team of gun carries instead. Also remove two high prio.

Agree, except on the draft point - draft will be good and from the perspective of people grinding the game a ton it makes sense, but atm I don't think draft should be a priority and I also think ppl overestimate the ability of teammates to pick the right heroes

final thoughts on new urn in deadlock - good concept that needs polish - mid location is too snowbally (win fight=mid 99% of time now past 15) - punch and dunk time is too fast, should be frozen timer while enemies are near urn to allow a real teamfight - need draft asap

@Matty_OW Deadlock is not like League where you need to crawl back from the depths of hell to make a comeback, you can be 40-50k down in this game and if you win a single teamfight you are back in the game. Forfeit will just reinforce negative mindsets. It’s okay to lose.

When will Deadlock add a forfeit option? I get that it's a great mindset to have to believe that every game is turnable, but you have to admit that sometimes it's a massive waste of time.

@DeadlockAnon not having a forfeit system makes this community so much more tolerable, everyone is loading up the game with full intent to play it out, compared to league people will basically throw in the towel after they make a single mistake deadlock has tons of comeback mechanics too

Contrary to popular belief deadlock desperately needs a forfeit system. In no way should you have to sit through 30 minutes of an unwinnable game because haze got 12 kills before 15 minutes and now 5 of the 6 enemies are killstreaking

Mina might be one of the worst characters to go against in Deadlock High burst, good sustained damage, crazy mobility, good sustain, an AOE silence ult And yet there's part of the community that thinks she's bad because she's "squishy" 😭

@ToxicAssWhore There’s a lot more freedom than you think (since everyone is still learning the game you can get away with a lot of dumb/inefficient stuff) but I do agree that some of the gun items kinda blend together.

I think item investment categories are causing pre item shop rework levels of build homogenization and it's kind of boring. I think the solution would be hero specific investment thresholds and would give heroes more unique build identity.

@froggy_dl forti/veil provides lots of hp stats on buy + vitality investment and keeps you healthy and ready to fight, you are up ~700 hp a fight from the stats and heals. for a roaming fight-heavy character it is 100% worth also invis wins games
