Myself and 3 other Nigerians have been unlawfully detained in Johannesburg airport for literally doing nothing, papers complete, visa valid and they literally just singled us out of the crowd for nothing, and onenof us's phone has been seized all day and hasn't been allowed to reach out to anyone. They are trying to take my own phone now, so I am putting this out so that the world knows that if anything happens to us, south Africa should be held responsible, please repost and tag the authorities concerned.. They are saying that they will detain us for no reason until God knows when. We are telling them that we want to book another flight back home immediately and they are refusing that. @abikedabiri @PoojaMedia @instablog9ja

@monsieur_avril There was a day when I wanted to board a commercial bus. I spotted a CNG cylinder under one of its seats and disembarked immediately. If Boko Haram bombs didn’t kill me in Zamfara, why should I die in a CNG explosion in Lagos?

@monsieur_avril I entered a bus few weeks back. Immediate I sighted the CNG tank, I jejely came down. I'll rather walk than take such risk in a country with no functional emergency services.

@iamonomen @Iameziokwu You didn't get it. They got everything on a platter of gold as kids before growing up to adults to fight for political positions. Enjoyed free education, free meal, ready employments, etc. At least they should let the current generation kids enjoy what they enjoyed as kids.

They got everything on a platter of God. They became head of state in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Today, the same generation are presidents at 80s, what they benefited from, they ruined for the ones to follow.

Now here’s where it gets crazy They don’t want to hear anything, they just took the keys and drove us to this police division In the image below you can see how dark this place is (the third image) More than 10 vehicles have been impounded here for no reason, with the police officers demanding 300k for each vehicles there. @AbdulMahmud01 I am going to assume no 7 was typed in error. A faster way to resolve this is to negotiate with Nafiu and his court cases will be withdrawn. This can be done under a week and not 2 weeks.

ADC: What's to be done 1. Apply for the accelerated hearing of Nafiu Bala's suit at the High Court. Push for the conclusion of the suit within 2 weeks; 2. It's a suit about the defence of the independence of political parties and democracy, so mobilise lawyers
