This is a major story. TCO must be in place prior to an event like this happening. It is inconceivable that the city of miami or the county of miami dade would allow this game to take place without the TCO. And all indications are that there is zero chance that the TCO will be granted prior to the match tomorrow. Why not acknowledge the delay? Seems smarter than having a bad first impression or worse, endangering fans or workers.

@WillManso I was there today too. It was quite shocking how much work still needs to be done. It’s beautiful but was a bit awkward.

I enjoyed the tour of Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium. The bottom line: it’s beautiful. It’s also a work in progress, especially outside and around the stadium. They’ll open it Saturday, but the work will continue long after that.

@LoudMiamiFan Sounds about right. But not too late to do it now. It's already a construction zone. Imagine young professional weekday or weeknight games, with transit from Brickell, CityCenter, Wynwood, and Edgewood. No need to drive. Drink and ride home.

I think the Loria’s team turned down the opportunity to build direct public transit to the stadium. He did not want to invest in the infrastructure it would have taken and the city refused to fund it. He never cared if fans attended, he was an art dealer, the team was used to fund him.

The owner of the Miami Marlins hired THE BRAIN behind the Tampa Bay Rays construction of competitive baseball seasons with LOW pay rolls. Community college‘s like @MDCollege are doing a tremendous job with more flexible degrees and certifications around different tech skills. And have enlisted 300+ other community colleges to do the same through the National Applied AI Consortium. It’s about giving people flexible ways to obtain the skill sets that would be critical for the next generation of jobs.
