@alacoque_mary @one4allireland Agreed. I had similar type experience with my One4All card. This card system needs to eliminate the excessive charges and get with the times.

I don't recommend @one4allireland. Had unused card worth €150.00 in Dublin yesterday. Checked balance: €101.00. It had bled €49 since purchase-see card. No human being to whom I can talk. Where to go? Outrageous monthly adm charge.

Government announced today that the vaccination registration portal will be ready in two to three weeks. That will be about 21st April at best. Just wondering what have they been doing since last year. It’s not like as if they didn’t know the portal was going to be needed.

NPHET recommended hotel quarantine 10 months ago.. the Government eventually agreed limited hotel quarantine last January. Despite our people’s best efforts to contain this virus , we still wait while the virus continues to fly in. Shambles and Farce. irishexaminer.com/news/munster/a…

@ToniTaylor546 @DrMaireadDB Clock is still ticking while we wait for hotel quarantine system. Should have been in place last year. Also not a word from Eamonn Ryan, Minister for Transport. Government tell us not to meet in our gardens for St Patrick’s Day. Farce. Donnelly and Ryan should be stepped down.

Why did the Government not appoint a Minister for Vaccination last year. National Emergency and we needed one person with sole responsibility to source, procure, manage and take ownership of the vaccination programme (gov’s only plan now unraveling). All so frustrating.

I attended a Conference many moons ago and the guest speaker was Anne O’Leary of Vodafone. Something she said stuck. Many businesses have contacts and buyers but ultimately it is the customer that matters. A customer is a buyer who pays the business and pays in a timely manner.

Interesting new article. New advice that schools should only open when the R number is falling and less than 1 and the 14 day LEA rate is less than 100. Covid traffic light system needed to keep schools safe, scientists say. irishexaminer.com/news/arid-4023…

Good news is that the Government confirmed that they are currently planning to plan for a plan which will then be a draft plan and it is planned to plan that the draft plan might then be planned for a plan to plan for a final plan.. now that’s the plan.. simple really.

@AodhanORiordain @DrMaireadDB It is now clear and obvious that the Minister has lost the support and confidence of her eduction partners. Surely it is time for Foley and Madigan to step aside.

One minute the Gov telling us the whole country will be vaccinated by September. The next minute they are telling us we might not have a staycation this summer. Constant stream of misinformation and doom and gloom must stop,if for nothing else for the country’s mental health.

@colettebrowne @DrMaireadDB Contingency planning and management of the pandemic by this government is shambolic. It’s a National Emergency since last March. Borders still wide open, the virus and variants continue to land on our shores. Government continue to react after it’s too late. Time for change.

@IrishGolferMag Great article which makes so much sense. And spot on in suggesting that Golf Ireland have been far too quiet in all of this, not just in the past few months but since last March.

Ireland's spacious fairways have lay empty for too long. Reopening the sport will not only boost the economy but it will also provide a major lift for hundreds of thousands of people at their wit's end already irishgolfer.ie/latest-golf-ne…

I acknowledge the need for all children to return to education but..on RedFM this morning the Taoiseach said the new C-19 variants spread faster in indoor facilities like hospitals and nursing homes.. can someone explain why schools are not included.

@Independent_ie Eamonn Ryan has been Minister for Travel , which obviously includes foreign travel, since the start of last Summer. To say he’s asleep on the job is an understatement. And all the while the country suffers because of his ineptitude. Needs to step down ASAP .

@Astraea1974 In my opinion Donnelly in Health, Ryan in Transport and Foley in Education should all be stood down .. all three a disaster and a shambles .. meanwhile it is the country that suffers the consequences of their dithering and inaction.

This is jaw dropping. Donnelly is the worst person in the most important job at the very worst time.
