Windows Defender is very silly and I am flabbergasted. I always keep Windows Defender off. As a person who collects malware, writes malware, and pokes malware with a stick, Windows Defender is a big stinky dork who isn't cool and gets in my way. Earlier today I was doing big brain intellectual stuff that you wouldn't understand (watching police chase videos on YouTube) and suddenly Windows Defender began screaming obnoxiously loud into my headphones that it has detected hundreds of malwares on my machine. Windows Defender turning itself on is no big deal. I keep my several terabytes of malware segregated (it's in a special folder that is whitelisted, I pray I don't accidentally detonate it). However, Windows Defender was screaming malware was in my C drive. This is sort of weird ... I write malware, maybe it's flagging one of my proof-of-concepts as malware? Maybe? I look inside and this fucking piece of shit is flagging my anti-malware project I'm working on as malware. That makes literally zero sense. Nothing in my anti-malware static analysis goofy project is even remotely malicious. What the fuck is this piece of shit yapping about? In my malware static analysis project I extracted the YARA rules from Windows Defender. I use those same rules for identification. Windows Defender flagged IT'S OWN RULES as malware because of the strings present in THEIR OWN YARA RULES You dumb son of a bitch. I HATE YOU. Now I have to spend an extra FOUR MINUTES re-extracting your YARA rules and recompiling them for my project. HOW DARE YOU

✨Parag Parikh Flexi Cap in 2023 vs 2026. Same fund. Same fund manager. Completely different portfolio. India's largest actively managed mutual fund quietly made one of the biggest strategic pivots I've seen — and most investors holding it have no idea what changed. I went through 3 years of monthly disclosures. Here's what Mr. Rajeev Thakkar actually did: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 AUM in early 2023: ~₹30,000 Cr AUM in March 2026: ~₹1,34,000 Cr That's 4.5x in 3 years. But the portfolio didn't just grow. It shapeshifted. 👉𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 #𝟭: 𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗲-𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 2023: Foreign equity was ~17-18% of portfolio → Alphabet ~5%, Microsoft ~5%, Amazon ~4%, Meta ~4% → US tech was the defining identity of this fund 2026: Foreign equity dropped to ~10.5% → Alphabet ~4%, Microsoft ~2.7%, Amazon ~2.4%, Meta ~2.7% → Still there, but no longer the star of the show They didn't panic-sell. They just stopped adding. As AUM grew 4.5x, the US allocation was diluted by design. Quiet, deliberate rebalancing. 👉𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 #𝟮: 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗼𝗻 "𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮" This is where it gets really interesting. The stocks PPFAS has been aggressively buying are not what fintwit would call exciting: → Coal India — high dividend, government cashflow machine → Power Grid Corporation — ₹6.92% of portfolio, massive accumulation → ITC — grew from minor position to 5%+, added crores of shares every single month through 2025 → HDFC Bank — now the #1 holding at 7.73% → ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank — steadily increased These are cash-rich, dividend-paying, low-PE giants. Not the high-growth darlings that dominate social media watchlists. 👉𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 #𝟯: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗲 2023: Cash allocation ~12-13% 2026: Cash allocation ~24-25% Read that again. India's largest active equity fund is sitting on roughly ₹33,000 crore in cash. That's not laziness. That's a statement. Thakkar is telling you: "I can't find enough cheap stocks to deploy this money into." When a value investor hoards cash, it means they think the market is expensive. When they do it while simultaneously buying Coal India and Power Grid, it means they're preparing for a downturn by loading defensive, dividend-heavy positions. 👉𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 #𝟰: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 — 𝗚𝗮𝘀 & 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 February 2026: Added Mahanagar Gas + Indraprastha Gas (city gas distribution) September 2025: Added Aptus Value Housing Finance November 2025: Added Indus Towers + TCS Gas distribution + affordable housing + telecom infrastructure. These aren't glamour plays. They're structural India bets — regulated businesses with predictable cashflows. Meanwhile, exited: MCX, IPCA Labs, ITC Hotels, Himadri Speciality, HP Adhesives, Laxmi Dental Pattern? Dumped the cyclical/speculative names. Loaded the boring compounders. 👉𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 Here's the number that tells you everything: PPFAS portfolio PE: 17.51 Flexi cap category average PE: 27.28 PPFAS is running a portfolio that's 36% cheaper than its own category. While the rest of the market chases momentum, they are buying yield. 👉𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝘁 2023 PPFAS = "Global tech + Indian quality" 2026 PPFAS = "Domestic cash cows + massive cash buffer" The fund hasn't changed its philosophy. It's still buying businesses below intrinsic value with strong cashflows. What changed is WHERE that value exists. In 2023, it was in beaten-down US tech (post-2022 crash). In 2026, it's in boring Indian dividend aristocrats that nobody on Twitter wants to talk about. Mr. Thakkar and Team aren't predicting a crash. They're positioning for a world where returns come from dividends and compounding — not from PE re-rating. That's either very smart or very early. Usually, with Rajeev Thakkar, it's both.

@LauraLoomer 10 hours of crying? Sounds like the baby took one look at your face and decided the cabin pressure was the least of its problems. Childless cat ladies shouldn't lecture parents-your 'feisty Jewess' vibe probably made it scream for mercy. Get some earplugs and a clue.

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

I spent 4 years paying my younger sister’s school fees. Every single kobo. The day she graduated, she gave the acknowledgement speech and thanked everyone except me. I sat in that hall and felt my soul leave my body 😭. When she got admission, things were tight at home. I had just started my first job. I told our parents, "Don't worry. I’ll handle it." And I did. Every semester. No breaks. There were months I was eating 0-1-0 so her account wouldn't run dry. I never told her. I didn't think I needed to. Graduation day, she looked beautiful. The first graduate in our family. I was prouder of her than I’ve ever been of myself. Then she got the mic. > She thanked God. (Fair). > She thanked our parents. (Expected). > She thanked her friends who kept her sane. > She even thanked her HOD. Then she sat down. My mother looked at me. I smiled and looked away, but the clapping felt like it was happening in a different room. I didn’t say anything that day. Or the week after. But something in how I moved changed. I stopped volunteering. Started waiting to be asked. Started noticing who actually noticed me. People say, "Don’t give to be recognized." I agree to an extent. But there is a thin line between not needing applause and being erased by the person you bled for. That's not humility. That's invisibility. We’re fine now. I brought it up six months later, calmly. She cried, and said she was nervous and blanked. Maybe. Maybe not 🤷 But I learned something either way. Sacrifice without communication creates invisible resentment. Tell people what you are carrying for them. Not to guilt trip them. But because silence makes martyrs, and martyrs make bitter people. This same dynamic shows up in dating every day. You’re playing the provider or the supporter in silence, while your partner thinks you're just an oil money that never runs dry. Stop accepting the bare minimum of gratitude. If they don't see the sacrifice, they won't value the person making it. Has someone ever made you feel invisible in a relationship after everything you did for them? Let’s talk below.👇

Bought an AC from Daikin. Thought It would do things “properly” this time. Paid 2x for their official AMC....peace of mind, right? Then the story begins… Visited the same center from where I bought AMC → “Sir, raise complaint online.” Raised it online → got assigned a different center. That center → “Sir, AMC wala center will handle this.” Back to square one. 3 touchpoints. 0 accountability. If this is the experience after paying a premium, what’s the point?Big brand, but no clear SOP. @DaikinIndia please fix this. Customers shouldn’t be doing ping-pong for basic service.

Never imagined that @bigbasket_com from the esteemed @TataCompanies would also resort to cheating. Placed an order on Big Basket a few minutes back [Order # TBN-1935670844-20260317]. The order had an item "Iceberg Lettuce" listed in the app for Rs 167. I went ahead and ordered it. This was the first time I was trying this product. It felt costly but I still went ahead. It is only after the product was delivered that I realised that I have been royally fooled. The product had an MRP of Rs 97 only. How can they show prices in their app that's more than the MRP? (Almost double). Tried to contact their customer care on the app just to get a robotic response that "prices can vary". Vary? I mean what, vary by 80%? And is it ok to sell above MRP? This is just not done! Everyone seems to find opportunities to loot !

IRCTC’s algorithm can be weird! Got a RAC seat with solo female. Day before yesterday, I was travelling from Delhi to Bhatinda and ended up with a RAC seat. When I reached my berth, a woman in her early 30s was already sleeping there. I woke her up to confirm if she was the one sharing the seat with me. We both sat at opposite corners of the side lower berth. Soon we started chatting and gradually became comfortable, talking about our lives and work. Then came the strange coincidence, my name is Saurabh and hers was Surbhi 😅. On top of that, we had a surprising number of things in common: our field of work, college background, and a lot more. Not sure how we ended up sharing the same seat with so many similarities. Since it was an overnight journey, I made sure she was comfortable and asked her to get some rest. I usually sleep quite late anyway, so she rested for most of the journey until her station arrived. The RAC system itself is problematic, and it becomes even more uncomfortable when two strangers of opposite genders have to share a berth. For men it may still be manageable, but for solo female travellers it can be difficult. She told me her last RAC experience wasn’t pleasant, and she had even considered cancelling this trip but had to travel. When her station arrived, we bid eachother goodbyes, and I went on to sleep for rest of my journey. #IndianRailways
