Elon Musk is now saying that only Twitter blue subscribers should be able to vote on polls affecting Twitter policies. He promised us free speech, but he is giving us poll taxes.

Musk now claiming his OWN POLL, run on a platform that HE OWNS, was rigged against him. Beyond parody.

All the most dangerous and hateful right-wing extremists on Twitter have their Gab, Gettr, and Parler accounts linked in their bios. Notice how those social media sites are not included in #QElon's banned list?

Is there any doubt that Elmo is the weakest, most thin-skinned excuse for a man? Banning journalists who criticize his policies, identifying a competing social network as “malware,” etc? “Free speech” my ass…

Let this sink in: @elonmusk hath decreed that all links to Mastodon should be flagged as malware. This is, of course, a baldfaced lie, and he knows it. So the CEO of Twitter is lying to everyone on Twitter, and to all its advertisers, even to all of his defenders.

@noarfromspace @patrickwardle That would be good, but if customers are potentially missing important notifications right now, we can’t wait for a request that we’d have no way to know if/when Apple would implement. We’ll have to implement something of our own ASAP.

@thomasareed @patrickwardle What about opening an Enhancement Request about security oriented notifications for developers who are trusted endpoint security vendors?

These days, ~50% of the time/effort in writing security tools is explaining to the user, Apple imposed limitations (that of course don't apply to Apple) ...and how Apple expects them to manually work around them, so the tools function correctly🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😖

@noarfromspace @patrickwardle It’s just generally going to be a pain in the neck, and require developer time that could have been put into something else, and not for a reason I understand. Yet apparently websites can send notifications now without an indication that it’s coming from a website. 🤷‍♂️
