what annoys me more is when people tell you to start a business or learn a skill without explaining where the startup money is supposed to come from.

I didn't have money to start a business, but I knew it was business or nothing... So I got a job. The job wasn't enough to fund the business at that time... So I took a loan from a friend, which I serviced with my salary from my job. I built the business till it started paying me twice my monthly salary after about 2 years. So, I quit my job. And since then, I have been doing my own thing. This might be a good way to go into business if you don't have money of your own.

Nigerian Entrepreneurs don’t do business to profit, NO. Nigerian Entrepreneurs do business to exploit.

One thing about doing business in Nigeria is that the amount of money needed to keep things running is likely to be the same as what you're making.

Doing business in Nigeria, especially in processing or production, often requires the federal government to impose bans for companies to remain viable. This really disgusts me

Lol It’s right in nigeria that people founded piggy vest and monie point. Better shift with your screwed mindset. Ii am sure if the founders of these companies were not Nigerians. It would be easier to find investors.

@jojoisababy The right country won’t make you a billionaire in dollars lol. Maybe a millionaire, yes. But becoming a billionaire means you have to start doing some crazy shit.

The message here is that as someone born and living in Nigeria u have to wake up and start running your life like a business because your already losing 6-0. Don't waste your time, don't operate on vibes and insha allah, don't wallow in self-pity or depression....it's time to be intentional, disciplined and hardworking or else u might never break away from poverty.
