If you begin learning to code today and remain consistent for at least 6 months, you'll become a highly capable startup developer capable of building a basic Web3 DeFi apps (both the frontend and backend) Interestingly, You can start completely from scratch with no prior experience or skills in Computer Science. My recommendation is you start with Python or Java as your foundational language. These are beginner-friendly and will help you grasp core programming concepts much more easily. Solidity is currently the most widely used language in Web3 development. Majority of Web3 applications are EVM compatible. So, mastering Solidity opens doors to numerous opportunities in the space. As mentioned, start with a more approachable language like Python or Java, then transition to Solidity once you're comfortable with the fundamentals. For Python, I recommend a beginner course by Mosh Hamedani @programmingwithmosh Video: youtu.be/_uQrJ0TkZlc For Solidity, my top recommendation is a comprehensive course by Patrick Collins @PatrickAlphaC Video:youtu.be/-1GB6m39-rM You can also join Cryptozombies online Academy for a better positioning 👉 cryptozombies.io If you enjoy math, you'll likely excel as a developer. If you've ever conducted academic research, handling everything yourself including the statistical analysis, you have the mindset to become a truly world-class developer. Bottom line You do not need a formal Computer Science degree or Software Engineering background to become a skilled coder. Consistency and practice is what matters.

Arc
Arc@arc·
We returned to London for our second @encodeclub hackathon bringing together 150+ builders shipping on Arc. For the first time, teams experimented with nanopayments, unlocking new models for microtransactions, agentic commerce, and programmable stablecoin apps. Across six tracks, developers integrated Arc Testnet with Circle’s developer platform using USDC, USYC, StableFX, CCTP, Nanopayments, and Circle Wallets. → 80+ submissions → 8 winning teams The Arc team spent the weekend mentoring builders while @bleso_a walked through the new multichain Arc sample app to help teams get shipping faster. The Arc builder ecosystem keeps growing. Here’s what the winning teams built: 🏆 Nanopayments USDC-ME (1st): A gasless “Venmo for USDC” using Nanopayments where signed spend intents batch settle with near-zero fees. Blink (2nd): Streaming laptop insurance priced per-second using nanopayments. 🏆 Best Smart Contracts Chariot: A cross-chain lending protocol combining borrower interest with USYC T-bill returns. 🏆 Chain-Abstracted USDC Apps MeanTime: Turns CCTP transfer delays into tradable liquidity using Transfer-NFTs. 🏆 Global Payouts & Treasury Settl: A multi-chain payroll and treasury system that automates fund management, executes global USDC payouts, and includes built-in fraud detection and real-time treasury visibility. Zerra: A chain-abstracted storefront where merchants always receive USDC on Arc regardless of user assets. 🏆 Agentic Commerce OTTO: An AI treasury agent that manages USDC across chains, pays services with nanopayments, and allocates funds into USYC. 🏆 USYC / StableFX Integration Sphere: A visual treasury dashboard for managing wallets, swaps, USYC or DeFi routing, and automated financial workflows.

Arc Vision went live on testnet 4 days ago. Since launch, builders and community members across Arc have started testing the platform, placing bets, and sharing feedback. That early response matters a lot. We are listening closely, improving the product based on community input, and we’ll keep pushing monthly updates to make Arc Vision better with every cycle. Thanks to the Arc community for the support so far.

I’m Henry, founder of Arc Vision. We’re building a prediction market designed to feel smoother even in the early stage, when liquidity is still thin. Arc Vision is now live on Arc Testnet for public testing. arcvision.xyz Test the flow, explore markets, and get in early.

ARC isn’t just another blockchain. It’s an attempt to rebuild financial infrastructure for how the internet actually works today. Most platforms still treat stablecoins as an extra layer, something added on after the core system is designed. @arc takes a different approach. Instead of sitting at the edges, stablecoins are built directly into the foundation of the network. On ARC, everything runs natively in USDC. Fees, settlement, and liquidity all operate in a stable unit of value, which removes the kind of volatility that usually exists at the protocol level. Transactions reach finality almost instantly, making it suitable for real financial use cases like payments, foreign exchange, and credit systems. It also brings liquidity and FX capabilities into the same environment. There’s no need to move assets across fragmented networks or deal with the usual complexity of bridging. With direct integration into Circle’s infrastructure, things like on-ramps, off-ramps, custody, compliance, and even cross-chain settlement are already built in. What this creates goes beyond improving existing apps. It opens the door to entirely new types of financial systems. Developers can build platforms where money moves globally in real time, where assets are created and settled in one place, and where autonomous agents operate with built-in access to liquidity and identity. The bigger idea here is simple but powerful: ARC brings payments, markets, and infrastructure together into a single programmable layer. That’s something older blockchains were never really designed to handle. If you’re building a typical consumer app, ARC might just be one of many options. But if you’re working on financial systems, capital markets, or agent-driven economies, it starts to look less like a choice and more like the foundation.

I see alot of today's banger boys trying to prove knowing the game but l laugh a laugh of derision. When you try to set them on the right track going by your experience, they tend to look down on you. Experience is not a lie and when a child thinks he can attend the event of elderly, that's where his problem starts. Their mates are concentrating on building their skills. They don't even know the difference between a Wallet and a Dex! They don't even know the diffrence between an AMM and orderbook! They can't even explain what a blockchain is to a lay man! They can't even perform basic analysis on blockchain exlorers! They think noise making is what tells how much one knows! They think passing through 3 bull and bear cyles is a joke!
