Look, to be honest, this is not the first time this kind of thing is happening. It’s not even the second time. And that’s exactly why it’s becoming a problem. What I don’t understand is this “defense mode” we claim to be in. Because from the way things are going, it feels like we are the ones actually bringing the attacks on ourselves. Something happened in the ecosystem - a memecoin rug. But let’s be real, everyone already knows how volatile memecoins are. If you’re putting money into them, it should be money you’re ready to lose. That’s basic. Now here’s the real issue: instead of letting it die down, people who call themselves Monad OGs keep posting about it repeatedly. Over and over again. And when they do that, people from other ecosystems pick it up, quote it, and amplify it even more. Then later, the same people switch into “defense mode” trying to protect the ecosystem. But how do you defend the ecosystem when you were part of spreading the negativity in the first place? It gets even worse when founders and builders within the same ecosystem start dragging other projects publicly. That kind of behavior doesn’t make any sense. It just creates confusion and weakens the entire space. At this rate, something like this will keep circulating until it turns into full-blown X news. And for what? Rugs happen on every chain, every single day. But in most ecosystems, it fades out quickly. Here, it keeps getting recycled, pushed, and amplified. And let’s be honest - some people are just using it to farm impressions. That’s the part that doesn’t sit right with me. If we actually care about the ecosystem, we should be more mindful of how we handle situations like this. Because right now, we’re doing more harm than good. Am just tired of this whole matter👀
