Everyone deserves privacy. Privacy is super important to me. When I joined the project I was working full-time at a game company, and working on games in my spare time was technically a breach of contract. Leaking my personal details was an easy way for me to risk losing my job.

@FredCro24258591 @SlurpsHaatoes It might have been spread without any ill intent, data corruption is a pretty cliché reason for a project to end up cancelled after all. But at the very least I can confirm that nothing has happend to the game files.

@MetalCatViking1 It's a popular rumour that's been around for a while. But no code's been lost, no corrupt files. The project can continue any time, but everyone on the dev team wanted to give Merrow enough time to return to the project. So that's the real reason for the silence.

In case anyone is curious: FuwaMoco 64 / Adventure's development has been paused ever since Merrow disappeared in April '25. He is the main driving force and the rest of our team is hesitant to continue without him (1/6)🧵 Here's me testing the game on an actual CRT #FWMCpix 🐾

@killine01 Nobody in our team knows what he's up to or how he's doing. We've had people on our team go silent for a month or two in the past, including myself. We're all adults and life takes priority over these hobby projects, so I never questioned why someone would be inactive.

As things currently stand this fan game will stay unfinished unless Merrow were to return. Some form of a free public demo is possible in my opinion, as long as Holo Indie are willing to get in contact with the remainder of the dev team to make it a reality. (6/6)

So while a public demo is possible on a technical level, I don't know if it would cause any legal trouble. It's a game that's made in cooperation with @holoindie_ccmc and any contact with them is managed by our absent project leader Merrow. (5/6)

I personally don’t care that there aren’t going to be anymore physical disc for PlayStation. I haven’t bought a hard copy game in 10 yrs. I play the game, enjoy it and that’s it. I never understand the outrage.
