I've been obsessing lately over all the poets identified as f@gg0ts (or f@gg0t-adjacent) in the opening chapter of Roberto Bolaño's "Woes of the True Policeman" (tr. Natasha Wimmer). This quote in particular motivated me to pick up a copy of Gimferrer's selected works.

Mannered concepts like ‘taste’ and ‘craft’ seem to lose all coherence and what’s left is this raw sensation of someone digging around deep inside you

@NYRBpoets @a_nathanwest In “Shadows”, time wields a frozen stylus and a red bazooka while Captain Morgan wears a scapular like a good little Catholic boy. Everything feels on the verge of a resolution when a light turns on at the end of the poem, but the final effect is blinding rather than clarifying.

@MisawaElbow915 If I've read multiple works by an author and they're all very-good-to-mindblowing, that would cause me to classify them as a fav. That would also be the incentive to try to read all their stuff.
