@DHLeCommerce why say on your website that I can speak to an advisor about my delivery, if there is literally no way for me to speak to an advisor on that automated system that handles the phone number you advertise. I don't a robot to tell me what I already know.

Why Is the new netflix costco Christmas documentary just 90% identical to the documentary from earlier this year... Just got lazy and re used the same documentary and added some extra bits about Christmas...Nice one.

Super weird. As of this weekend, we can't hear voices properly on our LG TV. Been fine for 3 years and now we just can't hear on any setting except clear voice (which makes everything else sound aweful).

@reillyusa Unfortunately the majority of entrypoints into the industry require degrees, and filter people out who don't have them. I agree that degrees aren't necessary in tech and mine didn't really help me with my career, but they are necessary to land a CV on the correct desk normally

Like anything, the answer is it depends. For some non-tech roles (think medicine, for example), then the answer is clearly "yes". For tech, IMHO, the answer is almost always "no". forbes.com/sites/bernardm…

"You should apply - you'd absolutely smash that role" And sometimes, that's all you need to hear to lay waste to a bunch of self-doubt ❤️ #jobsearch

Not unusual to see military aircraft in this area, but it is unusual to see them in formation flying low over central #Cambridge. Looks like a KC-135 tanker with its refuelling boom deployed.

Pretty sure all the traffic light sequences in Cambridge got changed this weekend and are broken. Everywhere just seems to be jammed up this week.

cambridgeindependent.co.uk/news/2-9m-is-s… So glad they are doing this instead of fixing all the pot holes. I love that there's pot holes. Keeps you paying attention to the road. Who cares about paying attention to potential hazards etc....let's play avoid the pot holes instead

@PaulHoward5 It even starts out with them saying like "oh there's so many conspiracies so we wanted to come up with an actual answer based on the data" then they proceed to just chat absolute nonsense

#MH370 on #Netflix is dreadful on every axis. Presents itself as a serious documentary, and turns out to be nothing but a platform for self-appointed "expert" conspiracy theorists to show off their bonkers ideas. Clumsy, shallow and sick. Do better, Netflix!

Don't understand on the Apprentice why the candidates always end up cooking the meals they just paid £24 per head for. What exactly are they paying for? If its about profit...why not go to tesco?
