@opti_x I was recently in Tonsai/Railay and met/climbed with many people still climbing hard (7a and above!) at over 50 and even over 60. I met climbers in Sardinia still climbing in their 70s! You have to be nicer to yourself and listen to your body but can still get involved

I got back into running because the clock is ticking for me. I'm nearing 31, and at my age, it's still possible to reach peak fitness in long-distance running. It’s even possible, and not uncommon, to hit prime at 35 or 37. But time is an inexorable force. I’ll wake up tomorrow and be 40. And then 50. So, right now, I want to push myself to see how much faster I can get. My best half-marathon is 1:21 (in difficult conditions), and I haven't done a marathon yet. (and it's the main reason why I quit drinking even ocasionally) I want to try to break my half PR and do a marathon. And that journey begins this year.
