Transparency tools like this are valuable for Cardano governance. They give delegators more context on how DReps approach treasury withdrawal votes over time, helping the community better understand voting patterns, scale, and consistency. This morning I've created a new dashboard on DaveGov, the goal is to showcase Cardanos largest DRep spenders, the DReps that have voted Yes on the most ADA withdrawals so far each year, this is configurable by year, so you can see this data also historically. You can see the leaderboard total YES votes in ADA, and the amount withdrawn from the treasury so far. I won't post the top spenders in the screenshot below, but feel free to have a browse, this is purely for awareness. Voting Yes for most proposals keeps you popular, but doesn't enforce fiscal responsibility or prove that you understand what you are voting for. This page auto-updates. 545,694 ADA for a high-performance Rust Ogmios client. @wingriderscom wants to build open-source infrastructure for Rust developers needing chain sync, ledger queries, tx submission and mempool monitoring. This is backend plumbing, but useful plumbing. Rust is a serious language for trading systems, bots and performance-heavy infra. Question is whether Treasury should fund ecosystem tooling like this, or whether teams that need it should build it themselves. Worth 545k ADA? *Not a paid promotion

Existing prototypes and early-stage implementations are a good sign for ecosystem interest. The focus of our proposal is production-grade infrastructure: performance optimization, benchmarking, testing, preprod/mainnet validation, and long-term reliability for real backend systems operating under load. There’s a significant difference between a prototype and infrastructure intended for production use.

@astroboysoup Different tools fit different use cases. Aiken can improve development speed and accessibility for many dApps, while Plutarch still provides flexibility that matters for more complex DeFi infrastructure.

Is anyone still using Plutarch? I recall @wingriderscom using it back in the day, but they may have rebuilt into Aiken. If no one is using it, why continue supporting it? Force legacy projects to upgrade to more popular and supported tools.

1.144M ADA to maintain Plutarch and Ply. MLabs is asking for 12 months of funding to keep two Cardano smart contract tools compatible, reliable and documented. At least 26 teams use these tools. Not flashy, but this is the kind of builder infrastructure people only notice when it breaks. Should treasury fund core dev tooling maintenance? *Not a paid promotion
