@acidiclemon2 @RichPerry4 @iam_elias1 It really depends on the price. Cheaper router will only change upon a restart but more expensive routers will check on schedule or co continuous. I agree a simple smart plug or even a timed plug to restart could be used if the router doesn't have a schedule.

@wolf92s @RichPerry4 @iam_elias1 I'm not familiar with consumer products generally but what I'd hope is that they are re-searching for the best channel randomly every 24 hours If they only do the selection once upon configuration then rebooting every 24 hours is sensible if channel contention is a genuine issue

@acidiclemon2 @RichPerry4 @iam_elias1 This, you can tell the person writing this doesn't understand auto mode. Used to routers had trouble but current generation ones shouldn't have an issue with it. A simple restart on the router should connect to a better channel

@RichPerry4 @iam_elias1 The point of "auto" is that the access point should be automatically picking the least congested channel it can see. If it isn't doing that, you shouldn't use auto. But you should actually confirm that's what's happening before you turn auto off.

We've now resolved the corruption-related crash issue that led to the Official Network being taken offline. Over the past day, we’ve been running controlled server environments on a small number of official servers with enhanced logging to safely reproduce the issue, validate adjustments, and ensure the cleanup logic correctly identifies and resolves these corrupted cases before they can destabilise a server. With the fix now validated, we will begin redeploying the Official Network in approximately 15 minutes. Servers will start coming back online shortly after deployment begins, some servers may take some time so please be patient and some servers may also require a rollback. We know downtime on this scale is disruptive, and we genuinely appreciate your patience while we worked through this. Our priority was bringing the network back stable, not just fast. Once the network is back online, we'll monitor stability and we plan to run a week long EVO event once we're confident all is well. Thanks folks🫀
