$BTC Many headlines today. On top of this, we had the 10/10 whale selling hundreds of millions of $BTC today. But regardless of all this, BTC price relatively unfazed for a change. Weekend around the corner so a few hours from now, I doubt we'll get a lot of action as US markets will be closed again. All in all a pretty slow week.

Local $BTC Update 📊 Good morning, PA within this range is still slightly too immature to fully break down, but we’re starting to see some clear local levels form on #Bitcoin. Bulls are defending the 65k region for now, and we’re seeing a slight bounce from that developing demand zone. That said, I’m not interested in any counter trend trades here. The only setup I’m watching is a potential short if $BTC pushes higher and tags the key trend resistance area. As mentioned in my recent macro update, I’m still expecting this higher timeframe wave to bottom out around mid March. Because of that, I’m hesitant to start calling for a macro low and consolidation just yet. Stay cautious with higher timeframe, pre-emptive longs in this environment. Have a great Friday 👊

Headlines and large prints only matter if they shift structure. When hundreds of millions in supply get absorbed without displacement, that’s usually a liquidity tell — not a bearish signal. If price stays compressed into the weekend despite forced flow, it suggests positioning is cleaner than sentiment implies and the real move is likely waiting for higher liquidity conditions next week.

Spot on as always, Daan! Huge headlines, 10/10 whale dumping hundreds of millions, and BTC just shrugs it off like it’s nothing. That’s real underlying strength showing. Weekend approaching = low volume snooze fest incoming. Perfect time for smart money to keep stacking quietly. Slow weeks usually set up the next violent leg.

btc holding up makes sense when perps positioning is leaning one-way: 24h liquidations are skewed to shorts (~64% shorts), so every dip gets bought back via squeeze flow. oi is still creeping higher (+~1.7% 24h), and daily rsi is only ~37, so this can stay “unfazed” until it doesn’t. for me the tell is whether we keep defending that ~$60k sweep low from feb 7 vs lose it and the headline risk starts to matter again.
