@SeanDOlfc There'd obviously have to be concessions on playing time and wage and all that but at the end of the day we have lost an obscene amount of experience recently. Virgil can't be the only one trying to set standards and I just can't help but feel it would be a massive boost.

You know this is probably gonna happen to Nolan one day too, right? It’s inevitable. Cameron is kinda the only filmmaker who’s been truly able to hold the general audience in the palm of his hand across multiple generations. Ah well, my inner boomer is still feasting regardless!

TLJ glazers simply ignore the Leia Poppins scene, turning the one promising character into le funny black man, Rose destroying the resistance for no reason, marvel esq quips and how every 10 mins immersion is broken

Bzzt wrong. TLJ is the only Good mainline Star Wars film besides Empire. As opposed to “good with caveats”, eg “better than the other prequels,” “flawed but charming” etc

@boredtactico @SeanDOlfc I can promise you we are worried about that. With that being said, not only could you not beat us this season, you couldn't even score agaisnt us. Forest literally slapped us 3-0 at home and you couldn't score once across 180 mins.

@chriskillian I obviously haven't seen every reaction yet but I'm noticing absolutely no-one I've seen has said 'it's a good film'. Just some variation of 'oh it's not perfect but it's fun' followed by a bunch of stuff that just sounds bad.

I’ve seen #TheMandalorianAndGrogu! Above all else, M&G is a super FUN Star Wars movie. It’s not perfect, but there’s a lot for fans to love. It plays like an extended episode with double the budget and moves from one incredible action set piece to the next. IMAX is a must.
