There are few convos I enjoy more than Austin and Lei. Rare combo of incredibly intelligent in their fields but also relatable/understandable. The convo drifted into USDm and why it's a level up for MegaETH and I'll continue to reiterate that it uniquely seals off our ecosystem from the largest value leak in our entire industry. All chains which have USDT/USDC as their most-liquid stable have value leaving their ecosystem to the tune of tens-to-hundreds of millions a year. It's not about liquidity unification (although that's a benefit)—its value, value, value and sealing a hole in the boat. Solana would potentially capture $250M per year (!) if their USDC, which is only 51% of their onchain stables, was enshrined and has the backend tbill yields routes to them.
