OK, we’ve seen several versions of the playoff now. In my opinion, here’s the sweet spot:
8 teams. 4 automatic bids. 4 wild cards. Seed it out with no gimmicks. Quarterfinals and semifinals at home sites. Final on neutral field.
Final rule: Prohibit these Oregon uniforms.
