Today, CCSF students delivered a petition to Interim Chancellor Bailey calling for added classes and teachers to meet student demand for Chemistry 32 & 40. The Chancellor has agreed to replace a retiring Chem Faculty, but more Full Time faculty are needed to address the problem.

Devi Lee has come to CCSF to continue her nursing journey. However Chemistry 32, a required class, is totally full. AFT is calling on the Chancellor and Trustees to hire more Full Time Chemistry Faculty so students like Devi can become the health care professionals our city needs

Anthony Kim is studying to be a nurse so he can serve his community. However, full Chem 32 classes are delaying his progress. AFT is calling on the Chancellor & Trustees to hire more full time Chemistry faculty to address these class shortages for the good of our students.

To address the overwhelming need for Chemistry 32&40 classes, CCSF students started a petition to hire more Full Time Chemistry faculty. Making this smart investment will allow the Nurses and Engineers of tomorrow to access the education they need today. bit.ly/3Cd7N9S

Today, Jessica Lemus was one of over 20 students who attempted to get a seat in Chemistry 32 after being unable to register due to full classes. AFT is calling on CCSF leaders to make smart investments into this gateway class that is needed to pursue a career in nursing and more!

We made it to Election Day! We are so proud to have worked to get @alankennywong re-elected to College Board. For a stable CCSF & a fully staffed city, stand with educators & cast only 1 vote for College Board for Alan Wong! CCSF students deserve strong leadership.
