It should be a much bigger story that JD Vance flew to Hungary, stood on a campaign stage, and told voters to return a head of government widely documented for human rights abuses and democratic backsliding. Then, after his candidate lost, Vance said what had happened during the Hungarian campaign was “one of the worst examples of foreign election interference that I’ve ever seen or ever even read about.” Was he describing himself? The Hungarian people rejected it all. Democracy held, despite America’s intervention, not because of American leadership. The United States has long argued that elections should be free from outside influence. That standard should apply to everyone, including us. nytimes.com/2026/04/07/wor…

Interesting analysis from Telegram channel Shrikenews on the extent to which Trump has just saved Putin's economy. Zelensky: By 2026, the Russians had a deficit of $100 billion. But over the last 14-15 days, they earned about $10 billion. They could cover this deficit, if the war in the Middle East continues, and if the sanctions policy is relaxed. Let's check it out. 1) The Russian budget deficit is $100 billion. That's quite realistic. It's about 8 trillion rubles at the current exchange rate. Before oil prices plummeted to $100, I came across forecasts of a deficit of 8-10 trillion. 2) "They" earned $10 billion from the Iranian war. First, we need to understand who these "they" are. Plus, the Russian budget and Russian oil companies received money. These are not the same thing. ▪️I always focus on the Russian budget, because it's from there that the costs of the war come. The budget gets a plus from the Iranian war - oil prices have risen sharply. A few days ago, I published a simple estimate: an increase of $10 in oil prices per month gives the Russian budget an additional $1.6 billion. It's important to remember that all extracted oil is taxed. You extract it - you pay. And where you then send it, it doesn't matter: whether you pour it into the abyss, make gasoline from it, or export it. And only the increase in prices at Russian ports matters, which is tracked by the Argus agency. At the beginning of March, the increase hadn't yet fully manifested itself. Just an additional $10 compared to the January lows. Let's assume that the price of Russian oil will rise in sync with Brent. That is, by about $30 by February. This means that the Russian budget will receive an "extra" $4.8 billion per month. ▪️On to the joy of Russian oil companies from the lifting of US sanctions. The sanctions have been lifted for a month, and they only apply to oil shipped before March 12. There were about 140 million barrels of Russian oil "on the way". But of these, about 80 million are ordinary transit, and about 60 million barrels are oil stuck due to sanctions. We don't yet know at what price this oil is being sold (don't confuse it with the price of shipment in ports). Let's just say it's at $90 per barrel. This means that Russian oil companies will receive about $5.4 billion. This is revenue, not profit. A portion of it will need to be paid for delivery, cover other expenses, etc. The tax on production in the Russian budget has already been paid for this oil (you extract it - you pay). But in addition to oil and gas companies, there are also ordinary taxes (for example, on profits). That is, the budget will also benefit from the lifting of sanctions. Moreover, an influx of money into the fading Russian economy will itself be a plus. Summarizing: Over the month, the Russian budget and Russian oil companies will receive about $5 billion each. But it's not correct to add them together - these sums are of a completely different nature. 3) Russia will be able to cover the $100 billion deficit if the war continues. Let's take the period March-December. 10 months. As we've already calculated, a month of Brent at $100 gives the Russian budget about $5 billion. 10 months will give $50 billion. And to cover the $100 billion deficit, Brent prices would need to be around $130 for 10 months. This is an apocalyptic scenario, including for the internal situation in the USA - Americans always react sharply to rising gasoline prices. And in November, there are important elections in the States. Therefore, Trump will not drag out the war for so long.

I’m sitting in my car because I’m too tired to drive home and because no sleep await me there. But I notice that @JohnCleese retweet me! 🤯 I’m sure famous people retweet many no one. But I am such fan of his. It’s like he sign me autograph that he notice I exist. Half my brain operates on Monty Python quotes. I even call fake separatists of Donetsk as Russian People's Front of Judea and Luhansk as Russian Judean People's Front. 🤣 I’m so fan girl right now that sitting in car too tired to go home seems like nothing 🥹 Wait until my father find out. He’s also fan. He’s going to faint 😅

Vice President JD Vance on the Russia-Ukraine war: "Why don't you stop killing each other and start trading with one another? Why don't they actually engage in some commerce, travel between the two countries, engage in some sort of cultural exchange? And fundamentally, if we get more peace in the world, it's good for American workers, it's good for the American people, and the President's going to keep on pursuing peace. He's done very well so far, but he's going to keep on working."

I noticed something new this time traveling that I haven't seen before Asking ChatGPT where to go, it would recommend us to go to specific places, so we went, and we were then surrounded by other foreigners who also were there, and then I saw some of them open their phone and yes there was them also asking where to go to....ChatGPT So you now have ChatGPT being the travel guide for a substantial amount of people, and because it has a tendency to normal/average answers, you kinda end up at normie tourist traps Then even if you ask for more authentic places, those thousands of other people also asked that, so it just funnels hundreds to thousands of people per day to the same exact places You could call it ChatGPT Tourism?

TOON (Token-Oriented Object Notation) is out for some days now and it aims to make communication with LLMs more accurate and token-efficient. The TOON topic is now one of the hottest news on the LLM market and it might actually matter. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘀𝗼: I was initially hesitant to cover this, potentially being another hype to quickly fade, but: ✅ The format has been shown to increase the accuracy of models while decreasing the token count. I was not sure if there were any accuracy retention studies made, it seems there were. ✅ Token efficiency is extremely important when working with Agentic Systems that require a lot of structured context inside of their reasoning chains. And we are moving towards a post-PoC world where there is a lot of emphasis placed on optimisation of the workflows. 𝗔 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: - Token-efficient: typically 30-60% fewer tokens on large uniform arrays vs formatted JSON. - LLM-friendly guardrails: explicit lengths and fields enable validation. - Minimal syntax: removes redundant punctuation (braces, brackets, most quotes). - Indentation-based structure: like YAML, uses whitespace instead of braces. - Tabular arrays: declare keys once, stream data as rows. An example: 𝘑𝘚𝘖𝘕 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵: "shopping_cart": [ { "id": "GDKVEG984", "name": "iPhone 15 Pro Max", "quantity": 2, "price": 1499.99, "category": "Electronics" }, { "id": "GDKVEG985", "name": "Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra", "quantity": 1, "price": 1299.99, "category": "Electronics" }, { "id": "GDKVEG986", "name": "Apple Watch Series 9", "quantity": 1, "price": 199.99, "category": "Electronics" }, { "id": "GDKVEG987", "name": "MacBook Pro 16-inch", "quantity": 1, "price": 2499.99, "category": "Electronics" } ] } 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘖𝘖𝘕 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵: shopping_cart: items[4]{id,name,quantity,price,category}: GDKVEG984,iPhone 15 Pro Max,2,1499.99,Electronics GDKVEG985,Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra,1,1299.99,Electronics GDKVEG986,Apple Watch Series 9,1,199.99,Electronics GDKVEG987,MacBook Pro 16-inch,1,2499.99,Electronics 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: ✅ 43% savings in token amount. ✅ Directly translates to 43% savings in token cost for this LLM input. ❗️ Be sure to know when NOT to use the format (and always test it for your application specifically): - Deeply nested or non-uniform structures. - Semi-uniform arrays. - Pure tabular data. ℹ️ I will be testing it in the upcoming weeks. Let me know if you have already tested TOON and what are your takeaways! 👇 #LLM #AI #MachineLearning
