Ion like how much the s3 marketing has relied on the notion that louis and Claudia are liars to sell the "lestats true story" narrative. Like even if the show doesnt actually go in that direction and directly contradict s2 its just suck an icky way to market the show

@cherriesaint As I have stated, my comment had nothing to do with the season. Some people were citing the book as a reason why Louis and Claudia were less featured in the promo so far. I pointed out that Daniel Malloy is not in the book at all but in a lot of promo, so it’s not about the book

promo started three days ago and they showed louis twice next to lestat. the only 2 long clips we have about s3 are with louis and lestat. s3 louis is going to have his own sub plot. now what lies are going to say

louis is also only in TVL for like 20 pages and claudia is not mentioned much either bc of how much of the book takes place in lestat’s past and yet we know jacob and delainey are both going to be in s3 and w/ new storylines developed to feature them more in the show <3

i'm always gonna notice that the white girl is the only one who ever gets recognized on an institutional level for her work on industry. it's not coincidental that harper has been effectively made into a side character on a show that usedta focus heavily on her & her inner world.

@Akanday_ there is a whole exchange featuring only louis and daniel at the beginning of the NYCC extended preview and louis has been in both of the other longest clips of s3 we’ve seen so far. the promo is not lopsided

@Akanday_ @shriiyasays He is actually. He’s just called “the boy” in the first two books but he’s the interviewer in the first book, mentioned in the second, and is a supporting character in Queen of The Damned which is when the Devil’s Minion chapter happens.
