HOW do u understand this show so wrong at literally every turn. claudia had a abusive aunt in an abusive house for orphaned girls and was preyed upon by men. her life before she was turned was hell she literally says it repeatedly in her diaries. this is so stupid i’m speechless

@AlotdeLioncourt @MistressSnixx That’s exactly why I talked about parallels. Even without the kneeling, it’s still a juxtaposition of the confessional scene, as you say. And there’s a reason for that. Religious symbolism wrt Lestat is woven throughout the books and this is a perfect encapsulation of that.
